Coastal Maine visit
Lovely!! Relaxing, beautiful setting on a quiet cove!! Breakfasts were creative and delicious. Highly recommend. Like lobster? Try Five Island Lobster at the end of the peninsula. We visited Main Coastal Gardens one day and Bath, Maine the next day.

Tub, fireplace, quiet reading area were nice. Of course with the amount we paid I expected that. We could’ve received a more thorough explanation of the features of the B&B such as the workout room. Lawn was not mowed so the walk in the backyard resulted in wet shoes

Great breakfasts! Pretty and comfortable bedrooms. Georgetown is somewhat secluded but several great places to eat nearby and beautiful pottery at Georgetown pottery. Country store is very handy to have nearby. The weather wasn't good for kayaking when we were there, but it looked like a good spot to kayak.

Peaceful, comfortable, delightful
Among the special features were the kayaks (though you have to be clever to get them in and out of the water) and the gourmet breakfasts! Plus a warm family atmosphere.

Wonderful stay!
We were at Coveside for five days and had a wonderful time! Bob, the owner, is a warm, friendly, responsive, conscientious, and knowledgeable host. He made an effort to get to know each guest, and along with maintaining clean and comfortable guest spaces, the breakfasts that he made were wonderfully flavorful and filling. Coveside B&B is made up of two beautiful houses, both with enclosed and open porches, plenty of seating -- Adirondack chairs, rocking chairs, couches and lounge chairs -- and pretty garden spaces. On clear mornings, there can be a beautiful sunrise as you look toward the mouth of the cove. {I kind of kick myself for not taking pictures on what turned out to be our clearest morning during a rainy visit. Sigh...} There’s plentiful parking, and there are also kayaks and bicycles that are free for guests to borrow. There’s also a game room in a separate building, but we didn’t make enough time during our visit to check it out, unfortunately. We stayed in the “Malden” room, which was small but big enough, and which had very pretty views of the cove from windows that stretched across the room and bathroom. The room had a queen bed, a chair, a dresser, a closet, and the bathroom, with a little room to move around -- this was all that we needed, especially with the many shared spaces elsewhere inside and outside of the building. The room also held a robust folder of information about the area. We would (and hopefully will!) definitely stay here again!

A lovely quiet spot. Within walking distance of a lobster shack and a small marina. Host was gracious enough to allow us to pick and eat some of the blueberries growing in his wonderfully scenic garden. A perfect escape from the hustle.

Very welcoming host willing to share tips on area, walks around the area, outstanding 5 star breakfasts, delicious omelet with subtle introduction of carmelized onions and Boursin cream cheese. Robust coffee, outstanding blueberry, buttermilk pancakes enhanced with corn meal and oats that were light yet filling. Beautiful setting on the water. Our room was spacious, sunny, had deck with view of water and nice seating arrangement. Our room was even more attractive than the online photos showed and we had a large bathroom with lots of storage space and a wonderful, large walk in shower. Would highly recommend and already thinking of our return.

The owner "Bob" was awesome and very accommodating. The property is off the beaten path and just beautiful!! And the view was breath taking. The Inn was and property was great. We were there in the off season and would love to come back when everything is in bloom! They have a lot of extras for the quests to use such as Kayaks, a fire pit outside. It was only about a 15 min drive to Bath Maine which made it nice. You can go into all the touristy places then come back to a beautiful setting and just chill. And for us in December setting by the fireplace in the common room looking out at the bay and chilling was just perfect! And BREAKFAST, OMG it is worth the trip alone! Bob just 'Rocks" in the kitchen. (wish he did lunch and dinner too, lol) I highly recommend Coveside ANYTIME of the year!

Gorgeous property with gourmet chef breakfast
This is one of those places that selfishly I won't want to write a review so it doesn't become too popular and too hard to get a room in the future! But alas I live in Texas and won't be back to Maine for a minute - and this place will be very popular regardless. Charming, romantic, beautiful, perfectly clean, and to top it all off - one of the best b&b breakfasts we've ever had. Fresh squeezed juice, locally farmed sausage, a perfectly cooked gourmet omelette, and definitely the best blueberry muffins we've ever tasted. Bob is the owner and chef who cares about the details and has created an amazing retreat for any couple or family. We highly recommend.

Beautiful and charming cottage
This cottage is great, looking directly at the sea. Located nearby is the beautiful Reid State Park.We had a great time there. Only critic I could make is that there is no choice for the breakfast. If you don't like what is served... well, you'll have to eat your breakfast elsewhere. Although products are of good quality, there was too much cinnamon for me for instance.
