The Inn on Mount Desert

"We loved the Inn on Mount Desert. It was a great location. Easy for walking to town or driving to the park. Everything was clean. The front porch was lovely to sit on during a rain storm. The kids loved the pool table while they were waiting for the adults to get ready. And everyone loved the breakfast each morning!"

"We had an amazing time - conveniently located to downtown Bar Harbor - a lot of amenities to keep the kids and adults happy - the island hopper to Acadia picks you up right out front - I have no negative comments- the rooms were spacious and clean"

"Stayed in one of the "300" rooms which are adjacent to the main hotel building. Hotel was clean. staff polite. Comfy bed. Excellent continental breakfast and snacks. Not a far walk into the more populated downtown areas of Bar Harbor which is easier than driving and trying to find (and pay!) for parking."

"I can’t say there wasn’t much not to like Christopher and Rebecca were awesome They’re grab & go breakfast was perfect and they even offered gluten-free options The room we had was very nice and clean with our own private little balcony to relax"

"We had a great stay this week in room 14. Love the location outside of town. The room was spacious with a nice sitting area. And despite an unusually warm week the AC kept us cool at night. The staff was welcoming and kind. And breakfast!! So yummy. We will be coming back to the Cleftstone."

"This was a great choice! Rooms were very spacious and clean! Loved the wonderful breakfasts and “ trail mix” bar! Afternoon cookies hit the spot too after being out all day! So convenient having the shuttle take us around even tho you could walk downtown .. a little over a mile.. will definitely stay here again!"
