We stayed here right after the eclipse -- I booked far in advance because I knew the whole peninsula would be busy. The hotel was as expected for an iceland hotel. It's an older building but it's nice. Had a good sleep. Breakfast was pretty standard. The location was good -- I wanted to be close to Kirkjufell for early morning photos. But we had no view of it from our room -- just some industrial warehouses. We didn't explore the town much.

Absolutely great. The pictures don’t do the property justice. Very spacious, spotless clean, totally fell in love with the floors. The sauna and tub were spectacular, got some amazing aurora views while relaxing in both. The neighborhood was great, with multiple stores like Bónus just a few minutes away. The owner was super friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
