"We arrived to 1935 Limberlost Ln, and never left the property until we checked out. It was the perfect spot for a quiet family vacation. My fiancé and I went with my daughters family, 2 adults and 2 grandchildren, and the accomadations were perfect, very thoughtfully appointed especially the small bunkroom, set up with cozy chairs for the littles, a TV and a GameCube. The only thing I looked for that I didn't find, was a cheese grater. They had everything! So well stocked!!! We grilled, we cooked, we baked!!! We kayaked, we used the paddleboat, we fished the kids played from morning to night on the little beach and in the water, my grandson called it the ocean. Realistically it is a small non motorized lake, that was perfect for what we wanted, quiet and peaceful. The only thing we didnt realize was that it is a community vibe, 3 buildings with 9 townhouse units that share the dock and beach, not quite as private as we thought but did not change how pleasant the stay was. Met some nice people during our stay. The only thing I can say is good job on townhouse!!! I could have literally left more than half of what I brought at home and it is very tastefully done! Not sure if we will make it back here again but if we do, I will definitely stay here again "

"Incredible lake- honestly even better than the pictures depicted. Calm, excellent fishing, and kayaks available for increased access and enjoyment. This property is pet friendly which was excellent for us but could be irritating to others (there was a neighbor whose dog started barking at 6AM and didn’t stop, we were able to excuse it because we brought our dogs/ are dog people but it’s a good heads up for those who aren’t). Cute downtown a short drive away. There were a handful of things that were awry: a broken screen door off its track and unable to be secured, a broken patio umbrella that needed Jerry-rigging, outdoor chairs that were used to the point of uncomfortable sagging. However, don’t let the few negatives dissuade you from staying here. It was clean, well-stocked with dishware and kitchen appliances, and spacious enough to sleep our blended family. We’d stay here again."

"If you're looking for a tranquil lakeside retreat, this is your place! We really enjoyed our stay at Retreat 27. The lake is gorgeous. We brought a 21-foot runabout boat, dropped in at the gravel ramp on the far end of the lake, the ramp is steep at the top, but gradually flattens out for an easy launch. On the lake, you must do water sports in a counterclockwise rotation around the lake. Kids and adults alike took turns on the provided Kayaks and stand-up paddleboards. The property grounds and driveway are a little rough, but easy to navigate. Inside the house is great - very comfortable furniture and beds, the kitchen is well equipped, and a gas stove top makes cooking easy. Our kids really enjoyed the billiards table and the arcade machines. Two of the upstairs rooms have a little stagnant airflow, so bring a fan. The large upstairs room is very cool with its separate split system. Overall a very nice spot to spend a few days"
