The best part of my experience is the very helpful and welcoming staff at the reception. I stayed for 5 nights and 6 days, and felt the warm welcome all throughout. Location: This is located in the quieter residential area of Montchat, which is a plus if you prefer to be further away from the city centre and crowds. The main tourist attractions are about 20-40 minutes away but still accessible via the transport system. Be mindful that the buses and trams may operate on less frequent schedule on certain days but still reliable. As long as you make it Grange Blanche (which you can also do on foot), the metro and the rest of the transport system are more frequent and regular. Breakfast: After dining elsewhere and taking a food tour, I realise we’ve been spoilt for breakfast choices. Turnover may not be as fast compared to hotel chains, but the assortment and quality are good. Side note: The setup is not quite a true buffet so I would recommend to get your share in one trip as much as possible or use the spare plates (I did) or maybe request for fresh plates if you really have to. Dining options: Theres is no room service but there are several options even up to late night nearby, and the reception staff will be more than willing to provide recommendations. Room: I can only speak for a double bed setup. The separate toilet config is a bit odd. Cleaning sched was quite random during my stay and not the “hotel chain level” of clean. Overall, these are minor & I have no issues.

Centrally located in the best part of old Lyon. Staff was very helpful including when my phone charging cube fried and tripped the outlet breaker in our room. They got right on it and fixed the problem quickly. Some rooms are larger than others so ask for one of the larger ones when you check in.

The staff were very friendly, rooms are all good for a short stay has everything you need :)

Let me start by saying that whatever you do, book the largest room available but NEVER the room for 4 which is too small for humans. The room occupancy is calculated based on the usage of the most basic of sofabeds and trust me, you want a proper bed. So if there is 4 of you then book for 6 or as I said - as large as possible. The flat we stayed in was basic but clean and functional. The bathroom was super and the bedrooms as well. The kitchen/living area is quite small and the balcony was to small for 3 even though we stayed in a flat for 6. The complex has an excellent pool which is very popular with guests. The reception is not always manned by when it is, we found the staff super nice and helpful. Please note that you have to clean after yourself before you check out. Our first impression when we arrived was not great but La Feclaz really grew on us while we were there and we were somewhat sad to leave. La Feclaz has a several fairly basic, reasonably priced but ok restaurants but don't expect gastronomy. The village does however have a truly excellent little supermarket with all you need again at reasonable prices. Attaced to the supermarket is a laundrette which is the only place you can wash clothes. In terms of things to do, as a family we highly recommend the very well signed local hiking paths which are great for families as well as seasoned hikers. Cyclists are also in for a treat as the climb from Chambery to La Feclaz is 1100m and steep.

Great hotel in beautiful town. Was upgraded free of charge as the room we booked was not easily accessible with a small baby and pushchair. Room was spacious snd clean. Breakfast was good with amazing fresh orange juice!
