"You should know that in this "hotel" you have to do everything yourself including cleaning the bathroom, make your own bed, broom and clean floors and take out trash that is 5 min walk from your apartment. In addition bring your own shower gel and shampoo as it's not provided either. When leaving you need to take your sheets with you and take it to their laundry. Zero service is provided. "

"Second time at Les Cottages du Lac. The cottages are great and well equipped, so quiet and nice private garden to have outdoor dining, you can rent a bbq hot plate. The lake beach is a few mins walk with local playground and lots of water sports but the lake was polluted this week so we couldn’t swim in it. Nearest swimming lake nearby is 25mins at Sanguenet - beautiful! The food at the restaurant is very good but we found this year they are not as flexible as they used to be at dinner time....

"Schöne Unterkunft. Wir hatten eine super Wohnung mit Sicht Richtung Meer und konnten jeden Abend den Sonnenuntergang vom Balkon geniessen. Wenn man aber eine Wohnung kriegt die zum PP oder zur Gasse hin ausgerichtet ist… Naja dann ist das eben nicht so super. Aber die Lage ist eifach fast unschlagbar. Direkt am Strand."

"Mobil home spacieux, quelques signes de fatigue du mobilier cependant. Cafouillage lors de notre enregistrement, le paiement n'était pas connu de leur côté (il a fallu présenter la preuve du paiement) et mobile home prévu donné à d'autres clients, il a fallu patienter environ 20 minutes pour que l'employé retrouve ses esprits et finisse par pouvoir nous donner le logement payé. Le camping est calme et a proximité d'une zone commerciale et de grands axes routiers mais c'est très calme et...

"Mein Mann und ich haben eine Woche Aufenthalt an diesem ruhigen Ort genossen. Das Haus liegt in einer Sackgasse und wir hatten total unsere Ruhe. Die Ausstattung war sehr gut und gemütlich ganz besonders haben wir den Kamin und die Tischtennis Platte sowie die zahlreichen Terrassen genossen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Françoise-Marie empfangen obwohl wir erst um 22 Uhr am Haus ankamen. Der Wein und die selbstgemachte Marmelade waren köstlich! Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt...

"Very close to the beach but definitely not worth the 100€ per night considering the fact that the water in the shower didn’t drain - we had to wipe up the water with a mop every time afterwards and worse, the hosts even blamed our dog’s hair although it didn’t drain right from the start when our dog hadn’t even entered the shower yet (which we told them)! It was also very difficult to turn the keys of the doors (and again they blamed us to have broken it) and to find a parking lot....

Excellent access via mud footpath to very slowly sloping beach on the lake, resulting in warm water (sailing school for youngsters there). Biscarosse town (20 min drive) and its crashing waves beach (further 5 min drive) has a restaurant on the N beach, the S beach is probably the town beach. Downside: found out that you need to use their (wonky! ) trolley to unload ref PMR ppl. No mop. Mattress not firm"

"Second time at Les Cottages du Lac. The cottages are great and well equipped, so quiet and nice private garden to have outdoor dining, you can rent a bbq hot plate. The lake beach is a few mins walk with local playground and lots of water sports but the lake was polluted this week so we couldn’t swim in it. Nearest swimming lake nearby is 25mins at Sanguenet - beautiful! The food at the restaurant is very good but we found this year they are not as flexible as they used to be at dinner time. Friday and Saturday nights were fully booked with no take away service. It would have been nice to have been offered to book dinner when we arrived but the food at Pipiou restaurant was good also,5min walk and we recommend Hotel Lakeside for dinner also (10min walk). However when we did eat there it was delicious with great service. There is a two hour window for lunch 12-2 but if you miss that they have a good panini and crepe menu to offer. Also the Reception team are v helpful. Make sure you book any taxis in advance. You can easily rent bikes down by the lake by the hour/day/week. A great family resort."
