Amazing very quiet place to stay. Great for solo travellers. People were very kind and if you ask the give you the better tips and places to visit during your trip. Definitely going back
We had a great experience and loved our stay! Rooms were very quiet and loved the big windows. Beds were great and kitchen area was easy to use. Thx so much!
Had a amazing stay and the room was a lot more spacious than we expected. Never got to meet any staff but everyone was very friendly and helpful with each other. The surrounding area is calm and beautiful, with water on one side and mountains on the other.
This stay was the most unique stay ive ever been in, it had such a beautiful veiw and everything was very clean. Would recommend anyone who wants a unique experience to stay here!
Very interesting property. Renovated school/community center turned into “auberge”. Staff supposed to be present until 8pm but no one at reception upon arrival at 7h15. However, clear envelope with name left on counter. Very clean. Nice decor. Good parking. Good access to the national park but otherwise not much around.
It’s super clean, a school renovated into a hotel, with shared bathroom and shower but it’s well done. It’s not luxurious, but comfortable and clean… Just beside a kid’s park and a few minutes drive from Forillon park, the location is awesome! And here’s a secret: the sunsets are magnificent! Gaspé city and other services are about 15 to 20 min drive (grocery, gas station, etc.). There is access to a shared kitchen. The only reason it’s not 5 stars all the way is because my bedroom didn’t have AC and the curtain were not darkening the room enough.
Thank you to all the staff!
We stayed in one of 2 rooms with a private bath in this quasi hostel auberge. The staff were all very friendly and helpful! Our room and the shared kitchen and lounge were clean. Free coffee in the morning, and muffins and croissants sometimes are available to purchase. There are 3 large shared fridges, and you just mark what food is yours. Our room was very warm, with an unexpected heat wave, and Laurianne found a fan for us, which made it much better. Melissa helped us get the world cup.game on the tv in the lounge. Beverly gave us great advice on hiking trails and other things to see.
Our bed was not the most comfortable, but that would be our only small complaint. The is a great place to stay overall.
Helpful staff. Clean area with kitchen. The only thing I don’t like, is the common washroom. Would have been better if each room have it’s own washroom.
This was a wonderful property. Try simple accommodations but comfortable and clean. We had access to a very large kitchen with everything you need to cook your own meals. I was able to join a daily yoga class which was wonderful after a day of driving.
This was our first experience at a hostel type accommodation. We had a room with private bathroom. Place was immaculate and the staff were very helpful. We didn’t bring food with us but found an incredible pizza place just down the road (Italian pizza!) A little trail led us to a spot overlooking the bay and we saw whales. The pillows were harder than we like; but the bed was comfy. Great shower. Great coffee and hot croissants were available for purchase from 8-11am. We would probably stay here again, should the opportunity arise.
This was a great stay, they have a big shared kitchen which was very useful!! also had a nice terasse and outside area as well. location was convenient. I would definetly stay here again !
No staff present when we arrived late around 8pm for check in and still no staff when we checked out. Safety is the issue especially on case of emergency.
