The hotel is clean, modern, the front end staff are friendly and helpful. I wanted to say a special thank you to Martin at the front desk who was able to get us in on an early check in. We also appreciated the baggage storage facilities which we used to explore the city. The breakfast is good, has a large selection and the wait staff are very friendly and efficient. The mattress was very comfortable and it made for a good night's sleep

We had an enjoyable 3 night stay at StayCity. We had upgraded to a 1 bedroom apartment and whilst it was useful to have 2 separate rooms this was at the expense of the bed (which was very comfortable) being right up against the wall / window requiring one of us to have to climb over the other to eg go to the bathroom.
Otherwise, very comfortable with good facilities.

- The reason I picked this was because it had a washer and dryer. It was one appliance that did both and took hours to do a load.
- The TV didn't work. The guide had no info available, casting didnt work, and the only streaming app it at was youtube.

We liked how central this property was, and that the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and laundry facilities were functional and comfortable.
When we arrived at the apartment we experienced flies swarming around in the hallways and inside the apartment. Not a great first impression. The building and apprtment are older, there's visible signs of wear and tear. Cleanliness in the common areas (halls and lobby was lacking). Some of the windows were broken and needed repair and attention in the apartment itself, the mechanical closers were just busted and didn't work. Picture missing on the wall. Serviette stuffed in the old deadbolt key hole that was never repaired. The area is noisy at night, people yelling and sirens constantly. Definitely take ear plugs!
The check-in process of having to download a 3rd party app and picking up the apartment keys at another location (City Breaks office) was super inconvenient! Depending on which property you are staying with this agency, be prepared to either walk with your luggage, take multiple taxis/buses if you don't have a car - just to check-in!
If you are young partiers and like proximity to lively pubs and restaurants, this is a great place for you! If you are a family, maybe try a quieter part of the city.
