"We had a lovely one night stay, enjoyed the outdoor pool, clean room and very nice breakfast. Close proximity to Bar Harbor downtown for an evening stroll. There is a great seafood restaurant practically next door, which was mobbed, we did take out, it was excellent. We would stay again."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this cabin. It was the right amount of room for my husband and me and our two teenage sons. The kitchen was well stocked and appliances were top-notch. The outdoor grill worked great as well. The deck overlooked Eastern Bay. We spent our afternoons and evenings on the benches closer to the water, where we saw seals and porpoises. The kayak launch was great for our rented kayaks. The bay was great to kayak on and spot more seals and birds. The cabin was an easy drive to the Hull Cove entrance of Acadia. Our stay was the perfect, peaceful Maine vacation."

"Fabulous location steps from the shore. Beauty surrounds the chalet, and it is conveniently located to sites, and the bus stop. House had all essentials and made for a perfect time in the MDI area."

"The Cedar Chalet was wonderful! We saw beautiful sunsets from the deck. The house was perfect and as described. Our family of six adults and one toddler had plenty of room and the beds were very comfortable. The house is close to the entrance for Acadia and we visited every day! Downtown Bar Harbor is a 15 minute drive and we enjoyed the shops, restaurants and a sightseeing cruise. Jamie communicated with me during our stay to ensure everything met our expectations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cedar Chalet!"

"The house was in a great location making it easy to access Bar Harbor and Acadia. It was in a very private setting and on a quiet street which made it easy for walking down to the beach or riding bikes. Peter left detailed notes on the house along with many suggestions for local attractions and businesses. The house was clean and very well stocked and it was great having all the linens provided. We loved the sun room and the back deck and although we did not need to use it having a heat lamp there was very impressive. Also had lots of seating which is often not the case when you are renting a house for an extended family. Peter was very responsive to us when we had questions/concerns.Would recommend this house."
