In the evening when this photo was taken, the canyon takes on a soft, almost painterly light. If you can, make a visit right after sunrise and return for the sunset.

  • We visited this location but ideally needed to be there in the afternoon as the sun was on the "wrong" side of the arch. I used a wide lens to capture the arch and didn't attempt to correct the distortion as I felt it added to the picture (for me anyway). It took a long time to get this without hoardes of people in the shot.

One word: AMAZING!! This is a must. The place is gorgeous and cozy. The views are spectacular. It's so close to the entrance of Yellowstone and attractions. Highly recommend.

Very nice room for one or two people. Owner Maya very courteous, helpful, responds fast. A new clean room in a quiet area. This was a trip on my bucket list and I was leary about where to stay. Maya made it easier for me to answer all of my inquiries. I will definitely stay there again.

Great location. Quiet. Very clean nicely sized rooms. Easy parking. It is on a short gravel road so wouldn’t recommend for motorcycles but I would definitely stay again.
