"Very clean, seemed to have just been updated and was an easy on easy off the road. The Check-in is virtual just using a door code to get into the room. Our only 2 issues were with no room controlled thermostat and the door to the bathroom did not close at all because the door latch was installed improperly."

Manistique Sands

10/10 Excellent
"The Manistique Sands was a wonderful surprise. Rooms appear to have recently been redone with updated bathrooms, decor, and beds. Even with exterior room doors, we did not hear other travelers. A beautiful perk was that the beach featured in their ads is actually private access. It’s just across the two-lane highway and gave a lively view of Lake Michigan. We did not use the pool or take advantage of the grab and go breakfast, although the breakfast hours and offerings appeared generous. Our only small criticism was for the worn carpet on the exterior stairs. But I’m guessing that’s simply due to a focus on redoing the interior. One other note: staff were exceptionally kind and friendly."
