"We had a very nice day. Very happy with The room. Couple things I wish they would consider would be the ceiling lights on a dimmer switch and the windowshade on the huge window overlooking the outside had to be wide open creating little privacy on the first floor. Installing a window sheer should be considered. Large room, comfortable bed and very modern, upscale design"

"We only stayed one night as we were driving through Escanaba. Location worked well for our travel plans. A big plus was the nice Italian restaurant in the hotel so we didn't need to worry about find a place when arriving at 7pm. We asked to be seated in the bar area and was served by the bartender. She could not have been nicer letting us take our time after a long day of travel. A negative, however, was the poor offering from the hotel in the morning. They say they have "breakfast" but it was undrinkable coffee and granola bars. The restaurant offers a discount to hotel guests for breakfast so that's clearly what they expect you to do. Otherwise the room was clean and adequately large for a one-night stay."

"We really enjoyed our stay. It had all the feel of a nice quiet wooded retreat without the hassles of setting up a camp. The hosts communicated well and were friendly in those communications. The sunrises and sunsets over the bay were wonderful and it was very peaceful and relaxing. Will definately consider this again next time we go up to the Upper Pen of Michigan. Thank you!"
