I booked this property some time ago. Passing thru to my final destination and chose it because of the great reviews.
The pool and hot tub are closed because they can’t keep them heated. There is major renovation going on so at checkin we were informed that we may want to reconsider the 3rd floor because the roofers start early tomorrow morning. The room we are in has holes in the wall because all pictures have been removed. The parking lot is in disrepair with large pot holes going in or out either way. And, in the near future it will become a Holiday Inn Express!
We should have been informed at booking (or after) that this was going on so we could have made other plans for a more suitable property.
We drove eight hours today, and have another seven tomorrow. This is not a property where we can get a good nights rest!
On the plus side, even though pictures are missing and holes are in the wall where they were; even though the carpeting is patched and buckled; the bedding is comfortable and clean. Bathroom is clean too.
Daniella at the front desk was helpful, professional, and pleasant.
I am hoping that Wyndham will see this review and compensate us for this terrible experience in one of their properties!
