Rooms were spacious . The WiFi connection was very slow and phone was out of order . The entrance access to hotel was narrow and construction was going on which we were not informed when booking. Also the website did not specify that a special permit called the ILP ( inner line permit) is needed by all foreigners before they check in on top of their visa . The position of the hotel on the corner of a bend and side of hill is perfect for enjoying the view of the mountains if they are visible during your visit. The bad - the staff is not up to the mark in services, the rooms are dated and most importantly, the hotel is geared up to dealing mainly with large groups mainly from Gujarat, which puts individual travelers at a disadvantage with respect to room cleaning, buffet breakfast, etc. The staff tries hard, but is hampered by lack of training and comparison with benchmarks.
