Good sized rooms

Posted 04-Sep-2016
Pros: Good sized rooms
Cons: Very dated furnishings.
Location: Not too far from the city, but beware taxi charges 10 euro one way trip
Nice reception staff. Rooms very dated. Not enough care taken with making sure that all is well with the room. Eg, chipped cups, and pillows rather old.

Did"nt offer a 4 star service ,would give it a 2,

Posted 31-Aug-2016
Pros: It came with a 4 star
Cons: Maybe give it a 2 star
Location: Fabulous things to do ,Galway city center is buzzing ,music in most pubs,to which there are many, Aran Islands, absolutely beautiful ,
Booked Expedia, on this site , it looked fabulous on the site ,even though it was very expensive (475) euro for 3 nights we thought we might spoil ourselves. Firstly when we got our room I was so disappointment it was"nt as big as it looked on the site, could"nt believe it did"nt even have shower cap, wardrobe was:nt large enough for clothes for 3 nights so I had to hang my clothes on a chair ,as a matter of fact it was the smallest I have ever seen in any hotel ,and certainly not 4star, when I used the hairdryer my husband could"nt get past me as it was in a drawer which opened out from the desk almost touching the bed .Internet was so slow we just put away laptops and used it in the town. Breakfast ,was waiting for ages for freshly bacon and eggs so much so I had my breakfast almost finished ,I"m sure it would have been delicious otherwise. I'm not a moaner , but this is an honest review, from an honest person, who expects value for money,,and in this hotel we did"nt get it .

Great Bar!

We loved staying here, the bar and live music were a lot of fun! Room was spacious. Twenty minute walk to Eyre Square, walked there, but took a cab back.

Hotel close to Galway City Center

Posted 10-Aug-2016
Pros: The staff.
Cons: This hotel needs an update and it is very noisy.
Location: This hotel is a short bus ride to Galway City Center.
This hotel is fine. It's old, not very well kept up and very noisy. If you are adults traveling together, you should be aware that this hotel is very much a family hotel with lots of young children. The staff is very pleasent and helpful.

Great location for Galway Races

Posted 31-Jul-2016
Good entertainment during races week, friendly staff, good breakfast, relatively comfortable room although pillows were absolutely dire, why couldn't they have spent just a little more and given guests a more comfortable sleep

Hôtel décevant pour le prix

Posted 27-Jul-2016
Pros: Pas grand chose
Cons: Voir ci-dessus

Nice room, no so much the facilities

Posted 19-Jul-2016
Our stay was fine except that our son couldn't use the pool because it was after 8 pm when we got there and their policy is no kids after 8 pm. They have a laundry room but the machines don't work. First there are no instructions on how to use them and after a long time trying to figure it out our clothes got washed but the dryer didnt work. I stayed up until 1 am waiting for clothes to dry but they never did. We had to take very wet clothes on a suitcase in a plane on our way to London. That didn't make us very happy. It was late and no laundromat was open. Our next flight was out if Dublin and we had to be on the road at 6:30 am.
