This guest was removed from the hostel following aggressive behavior towards staff and other guests. Such behavior will not be tolerated, regardless of if this results in a bad review. The incident was reported to Expedia.

I would like to address the points you have raised in your review. Firstly, in the 'Policies' section on our Expedia listing it advises that "Government-issued photo identification" is required on check-in. Secondly, when you arrived to check-in at 3am you only had 1 card with a photograph, and this was a Public Services Card. As this does not contain a date of birth, this is not a valid 'ID' card, and as such is also not accepted at Banks etc as a form of ID. This strict policy is in place for security reasons for the protection of other guests, especially when booking shared dormitories. Thirdly, when our Night Porter explained this to you, you became very aggressive, shouting, swearing, referring to our staff member by using the 'C' word. Due to your aggressive behavior, WE called the local Police Station. After discussing the situation with the Guards, we agreed to allow you to stay in one of our empty rooms so that you would not be left without a bed at 3-4am.
