Hotel is right by the train station, a beautiful green square, loads of restaurants and great shopping. Wonderful Skeffington Pub and great hotel staff.

Rooms are very unique & cute. There is a bar at the hotel that is a hot spot for loud music and parties. Disturbs sleep well into the night.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Galway. Clean, modern and very comfortable. Excellent breakfast with a great view overlooking Eyre Square. Will definitely stay again.

Fantastic location in an historic building, which shows some wear and tear around the edges, but the shower was super hot and strong. The bathroom was modern and spotless. The bed was comfortable, even if the linens weren’t the softest. It was very cute, trying hard to be boutique. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. Amazing. Great value.

Nice room and very comfortable, be aware this is a pub with events going on nightly until 2AM. But the only noise we heard were some room guest having a bit of trouble getting back into there room after the pub. Overall very nice with parking right around the corner at Qpark with a discount offered by the hotel currently $10 euro a day.

Great little spot In the center of everything, only thing I would say is that it has a great bar attached, so can be a bit noisy when you go to bed

This property was very comfortable, close to shopping district. We liked the pub for dinner and the breakfast as well. Staff was very friendly and personable, they made our stay wonderful

Staff were very nice and the rooms were great. We were in a quiet room so the noise from the bar wasn’t too bad, but the walls were very thin, so the noise from other room(s) kept us up.

Hi, all the room was nice size and comfortable, but with painting and decorating in the corridor outside my room there was noise and disruption, then when you look forward to a sleep in when your on a break, I was woken by a jackhammer outside my window this really was disappointing, would love to stay again with better conditions

Excellent place to stay in Galway, right in the center, with a short five minute walk from the train station. We were told it could get a little loud due to their bar, however since we travelled in off-peak season we got a room in the back where it was super quiet, we did not hear anything. The hotel receptionist was very welcoming. The service was quick and efficient. Our room was nice and big. It was perfect for our one night stay as it is located right on Eyre square. It was noisy which we had been told about by the receptionist but we were provided with earbuds to help with that. We were also left postcards on the bed which was a nice touch.

Room was small but very cosy, bed was very comfortable. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful. Only downside was the noise from the bar next door but we were told about this and knew it would be the case when we booked.

Loved our stay due to Niall‘s customer service
We had a wonderful stay. The bed was comfortable and room clean with all the necessary amenities. The hotel has a huge restaurant and Irish bar with many different rooms and 2 levels to accommodate all types of clientele! They had live music and the performances were amazing! The best part was the customer service provided with care, kindness, enthusiasm and pure happiness, always quick with help and a smile from their employee Niall, he was such a pleasure! Thank you Niall! :)

Location was great but parking is not near by. However you can walk everywhere. Hotel was clean. Staff was really nice. They put us in a room at the end, away from the restaurant so we never heard the bar

It is a very nice property in front of the Eyre Square. Lots of shopping and pubs right out if the door and around the corner. O’Connel pub is across the Square and it is the best pub Galway. Staff is super nice. Parking is nearby with the shopping center. Very close and not a big deal at all. Room is very nice and very quiet despite the bar and restaurant downstairs. I had a great stay.

Great location
Perfect location in the heart of Galway. Walked out the door to the Christmas market. All the shops are at your doorstep. The bar downstairs has a great vibe. Staff was kind and friendly. We parked in the eyre square q park and parking cost 10 euro at the hotel counter vs the 25 in the car park. We were celebrating our anniversary so we walked in to a note and celebratory drinks waiting for us. Hotel itself could use a bit of updating but everything was clean and comfy. Would recommend and definitely return. Wish we could’ve stayed longer than our one night!

We got an amazing welcome at the Skeff. Mentioned at checkin that we were under pressure to get to an event - they gave us our room keys, took our dinner order at reception and let us go to our room to drop our bags. When we came back down there was a table set for us and a delicious dinner within minutes. Thanks so much for taking the stress off us! Will definitely stay again!

Fantastic location and stay! The facilities were excellent and the guest room spacious and comfortable. The entire hotel were warm and accommodating Our welcoming guest service agent Niall was a superstar , who did his utmost to look after us by offering genuine hospitality. I was a hotel GM for over 20 years and this man has a real future in the business and is a real asset to the hotel.

This was a great stay. It’s almost like an “all inclusive” it’s got a connected bar and restaurant. The fact that the bar then becomes the Restuarant in the morning was the only hold back on cleanliness, just because you know a bar is a bar especially in Ireland. The staff was super helpful, Niall was kind enough to put us in one of the “quieter rooms” which was actually quiet, we didn’t even hear the raging DJ right next door and in the morning they were kind enough to give us tips for our day in Galway. Parking was in a Q park right down the road, but still had to pay some to cover it. I will say If there is any sort of festival or parade going on in Galway, plan to get there early because the garage will fill up and there will be traffic!

Hard to find, deteriorating rooms and great staff
The staff was amazing. Getting to the property is a nightmare. Find Q Park Parking and go through a mall and then find the property. This was very difficult. The room was moderate. The bathroom had peeling paint off the ceiling, toilet took many tries to flush all the way. Then just prior to checking out the lights went out in the room twice. Nials at the front desk deserves employee of hte year.

This is the place
Stay here! The music is amazing, and surprisingly you won’t hear it much when you go to bed-we stayed other places and it was not nearly as sound-proofed as the Skeff and the staff are lovely.
