Adjacent to UTMB Medical Complex and only minutes from The Strand Historic District, it’s a convenient and cozy base for short or extended stays. The Space: Our property features 21 cozy short-term rental units, all located within a two-hallway building that combines the convenience of a hotel with the comfort of home. Each unit comfortably sleeps two guests in a queen-size bed and includes a wall-mounted smart TV with streaming capabilities, a full-size kitchenette equipped with a Keurig coffee maker, blender, toaster, refrigerator/freezer, full-size microwave, dishes, glasses, coffee cups, and basic supplies. You’ll also find an iron and ironing board, a collapsible clothing rack for rooms without closets, a round table with seating for two, a nightstand with a lamp, and an individually controlled heating and air conditioning system for your comfort. The bathroom is full-sized and includes a tub, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap, bath towels, and beach towels. This listing is for Room #8, a In Living Coral Studio Apartment featuring its own private full bathroom. Seasonal rates apply. If you’re booking for a group event—such as a birthday, engagement party, wedding, or corporate getaway—ask us about reserving multiple rooms together. With 21 units in the building, The Botanical is well-suited to host larger groups while still providing each guest with their own space. Guest Access: We do not issue keys or provide access codes in advance. Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Guests will receive an access code for the keypad entry into the building and their own unique code for their room upon arrival. We want to ensure all guests are familiar with our lock system and feel comfortable settling into the building. If you plan to arrive after 10:00 PM, please message us ahead of time with your estimated arrival — if we are not notified and any issues occur after 10:00 PM, we may not be able to assist until the following morning. We got to the room very late 1:30am and went right the bed. The next day when leaving our room we noticed something on the wall. Staff said they had called someone to look at it and were leaving it alone. When we woke up the next morning there was a lid over it and it was taped to the wall. We were in Galveston for a soccer tournament at East Beach and this place was PERFECT. 140sq feet sounds small but it was ideal for me and my daughter. Super cozy space, smart design for the kitchenette, fridge/freezer and space to hang clothes, and a REALLY comfortable bed. The AC and TV were up to date and easy to use/stream TV, and the full bathroom served the purpose with a wonderfully pressurized shower head. The housekeeper was polite, helpful and always present during the day, and it was nice being able to do free laundry in the shared space. Parallel parking on the street was easy and while there is not much around, it is a safe spot within view of the medical center. There is a lovely donut place right down the street and this property is a perfect spot for 1-2 people! Mike contacted me before arrival and had immediate instructions when I got there.
