(152 reviews) We stayed in the Residences 2Bd it was amazing. The pool didn't heat up, but the kids enjoyed it. Breakfast was 1-star, too many flies, they had nets, but people were not covering the food back up. They need to set up fans and place them over the food to prevent the flies. The acrobat show was great. The beach was good, we had someone walk us across the lowtide (I had 3 small kids for $15). We visited the main pool, and the kids enjoyed it. The lunch bar sold great food. We ate lunch off the resort daily, best food was at the Salty Squid. We attempted to eat at Nomad but they wanted us to pay an entrance at the gate (I didn't like it). Room service: The laundry service was good. Room Service was quick and hot. It's a limited menu, pizza was not good. We moved to building 400, after 4 days for one night, no complaints. I came to understand that you were overwhelmed, there was a shortage of staff and you were only doing what you can. Shukran for all that you did for us during out stay. Nancy and the lady who checked us- I apologize that l can't recall your name- you were awesome!!!!! My favorite thing about your spot is the swimming pool. I am a fan and l enjoyed it completely and totally. I was not a fan of the outside meal locations: the food was not always hot/warm by the time one sat down to eat it. The lay out of the locations is something else that l was not a fan of, none of them were flat or concrete, lighting was not awesome- when we were there Kenya Power did their thing, then the extension cords that were everywhere as one walked to get their meal- l get it was about adding variety, at the same time l found it risky and dangerous. (130 reviews) The property was going through renovation during my visits with hoarding and building works. A number of paths and walkways were closed including the main bar/lobby area. I’m sure it’s will be great once completed. The beach boys outside the property are aggressive and persistent, which is a shame as I avoided going onto the beach/sea several times. We had a renovated sea view room which was very nice. The gardens are well kept and maintained.
