Welcome to James River Landing—your riverside retreat just a block from downtown Galena, Missouri. Nestled along the scenic James River, this getaway blends the peace of nature with the convenience of being just minutes from Branson’s attractions—while still feeling a world away.

The river is literally your backyard. Select outfitters can shuttle you upriver so you can float back to your cabin—or simply relax on the back deck and take in the sights and sounds of nature. Prefer to stay dry? Enjoy a peaceful stroll, watch wildlife, or unwind by the water’s edge.

Our property includes four cozy cabins (each sleeps 4) and one spacious lodge (sleeps 12), all elevated on stilts for unbeatable views and a unique stay right at the water’s edge.

Cabin #4 is The Bear’s Den—one of our charming one-bedroom cabins, perfect for couples or small families.

Planning a gathering? Rent multiple cabins for a reunion or friend getaway. Float together, picnic by the river, then retreat to your private cabin, all connected by a shared deck just steps from the shoreline.

The property was clean and was updated.The house manager was more than accommodating. Your deck view is a delight with the sound of the river. The town had a great diner. Our plans got changed due to levels of river but it was location of the property gave us options.Definitely stay again.

We’ve been renting this cabin for our family reunion that is held in the area for the past several years, and it’s always been a great spot. Under the new ownership, it’s an even better experience. Very nice, exceptionally clean, and clearly well cared for. The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed, from coffee to shampoo and conditioner, laundry soap, extra toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. The bed was super comfortable, and the whole place felt welcoming and well-prepared. We’ll definitely continue coming back!
