Emailed hotel to say we’d be arriving late. Arrived at midnight and after several attempts with the digital key, card keys, and staff master key, we couldn’t get into the room. Desk staff found out an earlier employee put someone in our room already because they booked 2 queens but were assigned a single queen. Desk staff tried multiple times to reach a manager and no one would respond. After almost 2 hours, she was able to get us into 2 separate single queen rooms instead of our double queen but one had a non-working tv. Our heads finally hit the pillows around 2:10 am. Despite all this I have to say Kay, the front desk employee, was amazing. She apologized over and over, pulled out both sleeper sofas for us, brought extra pillows and bedding, offered water, and really made every effort she could to assist.
