I needed to go out for dinner while time was of essence. Breakfast was poor. I stayed in the same chain hotel in Wujin changzhou city, before arriving in Fuzhou. We did a search for a hotel close to the airport, this one ended up 45 minutes away by taxi. We finally get there only to be turned away because we are not Chinese. Who ever heard of such a thing from a foreign owned hotel. The size of the room was a little smaller than most Holiday Inn rooms but this hotel was in the SOHO area of the city so it was acceptable. The housekeeper tried her best to clean our room everyday and make sure we had new towels ( we always slept in late lol). The hotel is newer so everything is cleaner and obviously newer as well. Super easy to get taxis / DiDi (China Uber). It was behind a huge mall so a bunch food was just a block away.
