"This is a wonderful place to stay while in Taormina. The staff and owners make you feel like part of the family. Exquisite views, top notch breakfast, and Matteo makes the best cappuccinos! Close to the bus line and Corso Umberto (the main street). We want to return next year to the same room! Highly recommend!"

"The hotel is run down and it shows. But it's location and views of the sea are excellent. The staff were responsive but not particularly friendly. Nobody asked us how our stay was. Breakfast is ok. The breakfast room faces the sea. But all the windows were closed and all the curtains drawn making the room extremely hot and uncomfortable. "

"Beautiful hotel with great staff. Super clean. The views were fabulous! Restaurant served excellent dinner and the breakfast was fantastic as well with lots of choice. Lots to love about this hotel. However, it was so hot in our room at night and the AC didn’t work (called front desk and they confirmed this) so had to sleep with window open which meant no sleep as people were riding motorbikes screeching all night long up and down the hill. Super noisy so that ruined it for me. I was exhausted the next day."

"I don’t think it’s worth the money. People who aren’t guests take up the facilities, lack of service in the “bars”, no light lunch menu or pool service. Room turn down doesn’t take place until after 4pm often conflicting with the time you want to return to your room for the day. Breakfast is very good and staff are friendly but seem overstretched. Doesn’t live up to what it advertises I’m afraid. Would stay somewhere else."
