Welcome to 715 Winter Trout, a stunning oceanfront retreat on the serene shores of Fripp Island. With 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and multiple indoor and outdoor living spaces, this beautifully updated home is designed for relaxation, gathering, and soaking in the coastal beauty. This property will comfortably accommodate up to 10.
Step inside a modern kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances, including a side-by-side refrigerator, double sinks, double wall ovens, wine cooler and ample counter space. An adjacent cozy sitting area invites you to linger over your morning coffee, while the spacious dining area seats 10, with additional barstool seating at the kitchen counter—perfect for casual meals or evening entertaining.
The main living room opens to a large ocean-facing deck, framed by lush scrub palms and offering unobstructed Atlantic views—the perfect setting for morning sunrises or evening stargazing. A propane grill is located on this deck for easy access to the kitchen. Down the main hallway, you'll find 3 bedrooms:
The primary oceanside suite features a king bed, a private ocean view deck, and an ensuite bath with a walk-in shower and double sinks for a true spa-like experience. 2 streetside queen bedrooms share a full hall bath with a tub/shower combo.
The lower level offers even more space to spread out, with a 4th bedroom (two twin beds), a 3rd full bathroom with a walk-in shower, and 3 separate living areas, including:
A large family room with a sectional full sleeper sofa, TV, bar area, and sliding doors to a ground-level deck and a cozy sitting area between the laundry room. A glassed-in Carolina room featuring additional lounge seating and a 6-person dining table is a great place to spend time with family and friends. 2 queen sleeper sofas in this area are available for your use.
Other highlights include a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer, an outdoor shower under the front steps and parking for up to 4 vehicles in the driveway, making it easy to accommodate guests or larger groups. A 6-seater golf cart in the garage is included with your rental, provided by the owner for your use. There is a short boardwalk in the backyard, with a patio area for beachfront views. The house was great and just as expected. Very open, clean and inviting. The only issue we had with our stay were the comfort and access of the beds. One of the two guest beds were too high for anyone to sleep in, and the other guest room mattress hurt my mom’s back so much we had to get a foam pillow to to help. That made it somewhat better, but she did not have restful sleep during our stay. Everything else went well, and we thank the host for having us.
