Its landscaped gardens offer views to both the sea and the mountains. The villa is equipped for a maximum of six people and has three bedrooms: There are two family size bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped. The lounge/dining room provides comfortable accommodation with fireplace. Air conditioning both hot and cold throughout the house. Externally the villa boasts a good sized pool (8m x 4m). The gardens are meticulously kept and the lawns are a welcome advantage for families with small children. We have just returned from a week’s stay and it was great. The villa was spotlessly clean and the gardens are beautifully maintained. There was everything you could need in the kitchen and a good tv (if you find you don’t want to be outside all the time). The views are lovely, especially at night over Nerja and the villa has a lovely large raised patio with comfy seating and a good dining area. Both Caroline and Jose were still at the villa when we arrived a little early but they were very accommodating and showed us where everything was even down to a taxi number which came in handy for a night out in Nerja. The views were beautiful which we didn’t think you would get so close to Nerja (we usually stay in Frigiliana) we would definitely recommend and would definitely return. Clean, private and lovely patio and pool with nice outlook. Out of the hustle and bustle of Nerja beach but quickly reached in a car and easy accross to Nerja caves and slightly over an hour to Alhambra. Supermarkets were within 10 mins drive but good to stock up with basics before arriving. The last bit of the road to the villa looks unlikely because it is quite rough but the map provided is helpful if you correlate where you are with google maps. This property was one of the best presented and cleanest I have ever stayed in. It had everything you could possibly need and more for a self catering hire. The owners Caroline and Jóse clearly have a great eye for detail and care greatly for their property. The air con units in all the rooms were amazing and quiet. All the room sizes were great, and the beds were more comfortable than home. There were 6 of us and it never felt crowded. The pool and gardens are immaculately kept, and there was plenty of sunshine and shade the whole day. We felt very safe and although situated close to the main coast road was very quiet. The views were epic.The winding track to get to the house was fine.( I managed it at 2am in a people carrier). The beach, supermarkets and town centre are 5 mins drive away. The photos show exactly what you are getting. Caroline and Jose could not be better, unobtrusive yet always on hand for help. The villa is very peaceful yet only a 5 min drive from Nerja. The road to the villa is a typical Spanish back road, but is Ok - I have stopped at Sayalonga, which is further inland and the back road to the villa I stayed in there was truly frightening! If you want to walk down in to Nerja it is all down hill, alebit a bit dusty. We tended to drive down into Nerja during the day, but got taxis (always use the taxi that Caroline advised - Antonio - who was just a phone call away and always reliable) there and back on a night. The taxi cost 10 euros each way. Nerja is a lovely place, still retaining a Spanish feel but with lots of interesting shops and good restaurants. Malaga and Granada are about an easy hours drive away for a trip out. Gorgeous views. Beautiful gardens. Very relaxing. Villa was as described. We went with children and young grandchildren so everything on one level was great. The view sitting out was fabulous both day and night. We picked this in particular because of the space around the pool area with little ones and it didn’t disappoint. The gardens are very well kept and so colourful and the interior was spotless with everything you could need in the kitchen. Air con was quiet and worked very well as the temperature was 30+ most days. The owners were very friendly and answered all messages instantly. No complaints at all. We did the holiday without a car. The only thing I would say is it was quite a challenge to walk to the local supermarket (Lidl) approx 20 mins away as it had steep inclines and dusty roads which didn’t feel easy in the heat. It was about another 15 mins to Nerja (Balcon area) but if you decided not to walk, the local taxi recommended by Caroline the owner was pretty much on demand. 10€ flat rate anywhere in Nerja. The walk might not have felt so challenging without the push chairs. Overall great stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property ##### Noreen C. Das Haus ist so ausgestattet, als würden sie selbst dort leben, und das merkt man. Man ist wirklich mit allem versorgt, was man dort für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt braucht, der Urlaub kann sofort beginnen. Der Garten ist wunderschön angelegt, im Haus ist für jede Bequemlichkeit gesorgt. Wir haben uns dort wie zuhause gefühlt. Tiene todo lo necesario para poder disfrutar y estar cómodos, con especial mención a lo cuidado que lo tienen todo sus dueños (Carolina y José Miguel que fueron muy amables y atentos, y nos facilitaron las gestiones y dudas que teníamos tanto a la entrada como a la salida). A nosotros lo que más nos gustó fue la zona exterior, a la que no le falta un detalle; está de lujo. En resumen, para nuestra familia ha sido una estancia de 7 días muy agradable y la recomendamos, eso sí, paciencia con los caminos de acceso. Ha sido una experiencia inmejorable, la cual pretendemos repetir en nuestras próximas vacaciones. La zona exterior es sencillamente: ESPECTACULAR. Un jardín muy cuidado, con plantas y palmeras que lo convierten en un entorno único que te ayuda a desconectar. La piscina es PERFECTA; el agua tiene una temperatura ideal tanto para adultos como para niños, además de estar muy cuidada y muy limpia. Hemos aprovechado y disfrutado de la barbacoa de obra de la que dispone el alojamiento, así como de las dos zonas del porche. La casa es muy cómoda y está muy limpia. Hemos agradecido muchísimo el disponer de aire acondicionado en todas las habitaciones. Por último, los dueños han sido muy atentos y si hemos necesitado cualquier cosa nos la han facilitado inmediatamente. Todo un acierto. Muy recomendable. Property was really clean, beautifully presented and brilliantly equipped. We did not hire a car and managed fine, usually walking into town and getting a taxi back. The proximity to the road was not an issue, we didn't notice any noise. The views from the villa were excellent. A final word on the owners, they helped with everything we needed in a really prompt fashion, they were always on hand if we needed them but were NOT invasive. Brilliant. ##### Carl A. The villa itself it lovely, well laid out and furnished. The bedroom arrangement was perfect for us with our family sharing the larger shower room and our friends with their own bathroom. Everything we needed was there, dishwasher, oven and microwave for those nights we ate in and the lovely table on the veranda at the front where we could sit and watch the lights of the town and the fantastic lightening storm that lit the sky one night. Incredible! The garden and pool were our idea of heaven. So peaceful and secluded. Not overlooked and very little noise, especially not the barking of dogs which we have noticed in many other places. Although the villa is quite a way from the centre of town, it is not isolated and we felt very safe and secure at all times. On the nights we went into the town to eat we walked down via the Rio Chillar, a pleasant walk as the evening cooled, even for my husband who is approaching 70\. As the return journey is somewhat steeper we did get a taxi back! On our arrival, much too early, we were greeted by Caroline who showed us all the important stuff and very kindly allowed us to leave our luggage safely whilst we went for lunch and supplies, beer, wine, whisky and a little food! Her help was invaluable especially the number of the taxi service, the esteemed Antonio, who brought us home safely, and if he wasn't working himself, he arranged for his friend to pick us up. Altogether a fantastic holiday, we can't wait to return as we feel we hardly scratched the surface of Nerja which is a lovely town. ##### Kate M. Caroline (the owner) met us and explained about the villa and Nerja when we arrived.The garden is beautiful. We spent summer evenings by the pool and the children swam happily. I jogged around the garden in the evenings on 2 of the 7 days. The children had a lie in each morning. The afternoons were too hot (35 to 38 Celsius) so we stayed indoors then, watching TV and DVDs. There were a few newish American program on the TV. We brought our favourite DVDs along. There is a DVD player there. The local supermarkets are close by and had everything we needed. I felt healthier on the bottled mineral water there and am getting Brita water filters in the UK now. We made a day trip to see the Alhambra Palace, Granada. The motorways are very good and this is a very well developed, modern and advanced tourist area. (We had booked Alhambra tour guide tickets 2 months earlier online from England). We made a half day trip to see the impressive caves at Nerja. The food there was excellent and very good value for money (10 Euros for a full tasty meal). The price there is 1/2 that in Nerja town. The pool was outstanding, really made the holiday for our young daughter. The hosts Caroline and Jose Miguel really made us feel really welcome and at home, and were available if we needed them. We really unplugged and recharged the batteries, I cannot recommend the villa, the location or hosts highly enough!! Fantastic!! ##### F O. The villa itself was spotless & had everything we needed including high chair & travel cot for our son who was then 20 months old. The pool was great and the garden is beautiful and well looked after. We also used the built in BBQ a few times which was a nice treat. Would highly recommend this villa, the owners Caroline & Jose Miguel were very friendly and helpful. ---
