"Female Solo traveler. Felt safe. Clean room. No fridge or microwave, would be helpful. Staff was nice, however, on arrival no one at desk to check me in. Rang bell, and waited almost 10 minutes before girl came out. After driving for hours, most people would like someone at the desk. It served its purpose for me. Cleanliness is utmost for me, and it was clean. Bed comfy. Breakfast ok. Waffle, pancake maker. Yogurts, bananas, apples, cereal. Coffee all day. Overall it was nice. They have laundry too."

"Staff was excellent. Had my elderly mother with me who has mobility issue and they went out of their way to be helpful. They even brought ice and something to drink when I stepped out for a bit to take care of some business. Only down side to the stay was the hot tub was down due to a pump issue. Definitely will stay there again and recommend them to others."

"I would highly recommend this place to stay in Westport. Great cozy, inviting dog friendly place. Love the two queen room with one of the queen bed in a separate room. The only thing I would recommend to the facility is to put folding chairs or something in the room for more setting other then the bed and one chair for the desk."

"We were on a road trip and looking for somewhere unique to stay that wasn't a cookie-cutter interstate chain hotel. The McCleary Hotel fit the bill. It's a charmingly weird old place with lots of character. The room was comfortable, the shared bathrooms were clean, and the staff was nice. Can't ask for more than that. We spent the evening chillin' by their gas fire pit in the backyard, and appreciated the coffee and pastries in the morning. If you're looking for a luxury hotel with all the high-end amenities, look elsewhere. But if you're looking for a genuinely unique place to stay and enjoy some living history, this is your spot."

"The house and property were amazing. We had every age group with us and there was something for everyone to do from the beach to the hot tub and the games in the cupboard. Shelby was an amazing host who answered quickly if I had a question about anything. A quick walk to a sandy beach is reason enough to come again. It was very peaceful to watch the sunset from the back deck at night. I definitely want to come again. Thank you for opening your home for us to stay in, this was our families most memorable and fun family vacation so far and we do one every year. Thank you so much "
