Very scenic area. Guests love this quiet escape where they can get away from it all. Our stay was amazing. The cabin was so cute. I loved the heated bathroom for showering. That was a fun surprise. The view was spectacular. I loved reading on the deck each morning.
I really enjoyed staying at the cabin! It felt very private even with other properties around. The hosts communicated very well regarding checking in and checking out. We enjoyed the hot tub and the view from the back porch. We would definitely stay again!
My finance and I had a great time staying here! The cabin was easy to access and our host was communicative and made sure the whole check in/check out process was as easy as can be. This is a great place for two people to get away for a bit.
The hosts thought of all the little things to make for a nice stay. If you’re looking for seclusion this is a great place to stay. Takes about 45 minutes to an hour to get to the gorge activities so prepare for that.

Absolutely loved this place! Holly was way to reach with any issues that we had or with getting to the property. Very quiet area. We were lucky enough to have had beautiful weather for hiking and stargazing. Wonderful place to unplug :)
Wonderful little cabin, a cozy place to get away. Very clean, the kitchen has everything we needed, comfortable bed, and the hot tub comes with a great view. The porch on the back really makes the cabin feel twice its size.
Our host sent helpful info ahead of time on places to eat and things to see.
We enjoyed our little getaway together. Very relaxing and peaceful! We weren’t able to explore as much as we wanted to due to the rain/flooding. The cabin was super cozy and cute! Enjoyed the little trail that was walking distance from our cabin. Also enjoyed Broke Leg Falls. We even had a picnic lunch at the falls. This area of Kentucky is absolutely beautiful! Would recommend this place to anyone who might be staying in the area.
We enjoyed our stay very much - from the hot tub, to relaxing on the porch and enjoying the view (even in the dreary weather), to cooking in the fully equipped kitchen. The cabin had everything we needed to relax for a few days. The weather was not in our favor so we weren’t able to take advantage of the fire pit/grill. Next time.
Little Red Cabin far exceeded my expectations! Very clean cabin and very comfortable. Lots of little extras made it really special. Very well stocked with cooking supplies, dishes, spices etc. The hot tub was a favorite for me and the grill was another favorite. My husband and I had a very relaxing and enjoyable time at this cabin. I loved the large deck, I enjoyed watching the sun come while having my morning coffee! We also enjoyed visiting The Red River Gorge! We would definitely return to LRC.
We had the best time for our Valentine’s getaway! It was even better than we hoped for! The hosts have thought of everything to make it comfortable and functional. So many pans, cooking utensils and even a forgot something bin. The hot tub and back deck really made the difference for our trip especially since we were rained/snowed in somewhat. Bringing our dogs was extra special and was worth the pet fee. It was a beautiful property and we cannot wait to come back! What a gem… and the hosts seem like wonderful people!
Property was just as pictured. Quality cookware and kitchen was a nice touch. We are used to king bed but this queen was very comfy! Always thrilled to find decent property that will allow our dog. So many lovely personal touches. We went hiking most days. Beautiful drives to/from. Great area.
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Lil’ Red. It was a perfect getaway. The hosts were very helpful and they have thought of everything to make sure guests have a great stay. The cabin is laid out perfectly to accommodate all the necessities in a small space.
Great communication. Wonderful view. Nice hot tub. Cozy cabin. We have already started planning our return to Lil’ Red.
The cabin was spotless - inside and out. The hot tub was warm and ready to go when we arrived. We spent most of our time in the hot tub and by the fire pit. This is a perfect spot for a weekend getaway. My favorite touch was the host provided a little basket labeled “forgot something?” (we did forget something so it was lovely to not have to drive 15-20 minutes back into town)
The pictures on the listing make the cabin look more isolated than it is. We saw/heard neighbors driving by most of the weekend, but the back deck has a privacy curtain and paneled wall, both of which were a nice solution.
Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again!
The Lil Red Cabin is beautiful! We had a wonderful stay for a few days! The area is quiet and secluded enough. Be aware that it’s a long narrow paved road to the cabin with spotty service and little light at night! There is no dishwasher, so we did make sure to clean and rinse all dishes from previous guests before we used them. Keep in mind, it does take closer to an hour to get to some of the activities in Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge State Park. This was not an issue for us, but something to plan for if you have reservations or plans at specific times. We also ran into a few roads being closed, so check this before you leave the cabin and have no service.
Lil Red was an absolute delight! The cabin was immaculate and well appointed. Not only was it clean, it was comfortable and the hosts thought of everything.
The kitchen was stocked with a wonderful supply of cookware, utensils, and even many staples like spices, coffee, tea, cooking oil, and two coffees makers.
The deck had 2 seating areas plus a fabulous hot tub. The fire pit and grill were just off the deck and were also very nice.
The bedroom and bathroom were small but the space was so well organized, this was not an issue. The bed was comfortable and there was ample storage. There was a supply of towels and other necessities which was greatly appreciated.
The hosts were very responsive and made our stay a breeze.
I would highly recommended this cabin for your next trip to the Red River Gorge area!
