"The stay at Castaway Bay was a girls trip for myself, my daughter and her daughters. The property superseded our expectations. The water park was big enough to keep the girls 4, 6, and 8 entertained and small enough to keep them safely contained. The daily activities were fun and engaging for their age. The staff were all patient and kind to the child customers. The overall stay was excellent. I will definitely do it again"

"We recently drove up from Virginia for a trip to Cedar Point and stayed at this hotel – and from the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. Rebecca, the shift manager, gave us a warm greeting upon check-in and even followed up shortly after we got to our room to ensure everything was satisfactory and to see if we needed anything else. That level of courtesy really stood out. During our stay, there happened to be a baseball team staying on the same floor, in the room right next to us. Honestly, we were amazed at how quiet and respectful the group was! Even when they had a late-night pizza gathering in the lobby that went on until 1am, it was contained, cheerful, and never disruptive — a real testament to how well the hotel manages its guests. At checkout, Art at the front desk was equally professional and polite. He took the time to ask how our stay was and genuinely seemed interested in our experience. Overall, we were 100% satisfied with every aspect of our stay — from the hospitality to the peaceful environment. "Very welcoming and the locals are very friendly. But for the pool, you will have to be careful because they just painted and you will be slipped. Other than that, the room is decent and had no problems. "
