"Great location in Miami, nice water view while eating breakfast. Budget friendly hotel in downtown Miami with free breakfast! Close to port of Miami, I will not recommend port transfer from hotel, if all passengers have different cruise line stops, the shuttle will stop at every terminal and port of Miami traffic is so bad. We left the hotel at 9am and arrived in our terminal at 11.30am, we were the last stop to be dropped off at Terminal A."

"I loooove the Gale my family has been coming here since it opened. I will say the recent changes with charging $100.00 to guests if they want to check in early is disappointing especially when people are flying in from a different state and time zone. You can tell a lot of things have changed recently. I’m hoping it changes for the better and not alienate people who come here a day before for cruises."

"One pool was under construction and they closed the other pool early (8:00) on the night we were there. The staff was very nice. The room was clean. The views were wonderful. We walked from the cruise port to the hotel in about thirty minutes. Traffic at the cruise port is horrible. It took us 2 1/2 in a ride share to get to the port. "
