The hotel is great and staff are great too. It's close enough to the train station. My only gripes are that the hotel only does posh food and the restaurant is closed on a sunday so you've got to find your food elsewhere. But I'd definitely stay again.

Would definitely use it again, if in the area.
Nice and clean hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. I had ordered a room with a balcony, which turned out to be in the most remote (only 2 minutes walk) and quiet end of the wing, which suited me fine. The restaurant area is undergoing rebuilding so the bar / lobby cafe was in use for breakfast, but not an issue. Good breakfast buffet selection and good cleanliness. Would definitely use it again, if I needed a room in the area.

While the locale of the property is pleasing (on rolling hills above a duck pond, walking distance from the railway station), the attention to detail is sorely lacking. There were no bath mats, no hand towels, and only one bath towel for two people. Now I love my wife dearly, but I DO appreciate a dry towel remaining after she has showered.

Good hotel, amazing breakfas great service
The hotel was just a few minutes drive to the old town. Free all day coffee/tee, amazing service, diverse and tasty breakfast. Enjoyed it very much. Beautiful view from the room. Stayed one night for business.

Great staff and amenities
The hotel is very well maintained and undergoing improvements. There is a broad range of facilities on the property and they have partnered with local sites to offer complementary services that are not on property. They provide access to the pool facility next door, which is quite expansive, and a local gym. The breakfast is varied, filling and tasty. The service staff is very attentive, whether at breakfast or at the front desk. They were very responsive to all requests and issues. Now the down side. When booking, be aware of not just what is written, but also what is not written. As an American, I naturally just assumed the rooms would be climate controlled. After all, this being my third trip to Europe this year, totaling stays in 11 different hotels, it seemed natural to expect A/C in a room in August. There was not. We have to switch rooms to the new business wing of the hotel at an increased price to get A/C. We made the same mistake on the follow on hotel in Sweden too. As is typical with European beds, the mattresses are thin, stiff and a double bed is really two twins pushed together. So if you plan to cuddle, expect to squeeze together on a twin or fall between the gap all night. Overall, it was a good stay and well worth the price we paid. I would stay again when returning for business.

A really nice stay!
The hotel was recommendations by my office. I arrived to Denmark early in the morning and they had my room already available. I was booked into their newly remodeled wing and it was beautiful. The shower is a little small and for shorter guests hard to use the hand held instead of the rainhead. But overall the room was great. The breakfast was quite goid, not an issue to eat at the same place all week. The food was very good and there is a restaurant onsite for evening dining, although with a limited menu. You should be aware that the workout facility and pool are not connected, but actually a public facility adjacent to the hotel. It's extremely busy. The hotel is in a lovely area of the city and connected to great walking and biking paths. It's not a far walk to nearby food and convenience stations (expanded gas station-stores). I will definitely stay when returning in the future.

Good basic hotel. Friendly staff.
The staff were very polite. The breakfast was not very interesting/varied. I used the hotel as a staging area to visit Aarhus, about an hour away, which is worth a visit, for sure. The immediate surroundings are sparse. I didn't visit historical Fredericia.

Nice hotel but not for the purist.
Stopped for overnight on a long drive, hotel was easy accessible and plenty of parking. Friendly staff at check, I was left wondering when reception asked me to pay even though hotels.com email said room was paid via them. Turned out they double charged me, and it was corrected at checkout. Hotel is in decent state, but sadly as so many Danish hotels it is suffering from the liberal smoking policies up until recently. There is a certain smell from walls and carpets. The breakfast was nice, by the looks of it. But the orange juice was all watered out and some of the fruit and vegetables were a bit dry and old. We did not dare to eat the salmon, left unsure about the freshness and storage of their food.

Only stayed one night to break up the drive to Copenhagen. The hotel met those needs easily. It is a couple of kms out of town, but we had a car, so that wasn't a problem.

Good Hotel
Stayed for 10 days on business. The hotel is out of town so ate there most nights. Food was very good but the menu is limited so you work your way through it after about 5 days. Overall it suited our purpose, the staff were excellent and the room was clean.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff, clean room, good facilities. On the negative side, only one set of towels in the room (for a family of 4). Breakfast was stated until 10am, but at 9:30am most things were gone and did not get filled back up, then the staff rushed to remove everything.

Ok hotel but far from town centre
I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights for business. Down side is if you want to explore the town or the restaurants in town, you will have to order a taxi as the hotel is in the countryside. So basically I opted to eat at the hotel restaurant every night. The upside is that the food in the hotel restaurant is actually very good but the choices are quite limited. All in all the hotel is ok for 2 - 3 nights but I wouldn't stay here longer only due to the reason it is far from the town centre. Room and hotel lobby are nice.

Wrong hotel
Dont mistake this for the beautiful country style other Fredericia Best Western hotel - this hotel is starkly modern and not the cosy hotel I was expecting! However staff were very friendly and the food excellent.

A Gem In a Country Village
This Hotel was on the outskirts of a quaint Danish Village. It is close to town, but requires a car to get in to the town center, which is well worth the effort. There is a mini replica of the town just down the hill from the hotel -- don't miss it! The Hotel is clean & fresh. HadGail a great breakfast buffet (included). The beds were very comfy and internet was included. I was too busy to check out the pool/gym next door. I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.
