"The hotel is rather small (a very good thing for me!), but the room I had was large and the bathroom too. It was modern and very clean, with A/C. It was called Mallus and had a French door to the street which meant I had to have the blind down all the time for privacy, really the only drawback to it all. The breakfast is very good, fresh, and the manager very kind and dedicated. I highly recommend!"

"The hotel facilities seem quite nice, just lack of service staff. However the room we were assigned on the 1st floor does not have Wifi. The young fellow was kind enough to change us to a room on the 3rd floor, which was ok for us although it lacks certain amenities. The worst thing happened was upon the check out. We made the reservation on Orbitz and prepaid the total amount on June 9th (\~a month prior). When we check out, the reception lady asks us to pay again. We showed her Orbitz...

"Charmerende. Dejligt værelse med udsigt til poolen. Vær opmærksom på at nogen værelser har vinduer højt, så man ikke kan se ud (kælderen). Flere grupper af stole/borde udenfor, så man kunne sidde og hygge. Flinke værter. Morgenmad ok, men der manglede hele tiden noget (var der i 3 dage). I området var der gode afmærkede vandrerstier. Et stort supermarked. "

"The property has stunning views and spacious rooms but lack little things like tissue or a waste basket. Our room wasn’t as clean as I expected with random hair in the bathroom. The bathroom had glass walls which is ok but a door for toilet privacy would be appreciated. The shower floor wasn’t tile but linoleum that gave way as you stepped on in. There is a restaurant and bar. Food was tasty. Did not use the pool or spa. "

"Our apartment in Tua was truly exceptional — a definite 10 experience! The location, perched above the breathtaking Douro River, offered stunning views that we never got tired of. The apartment itself was incredibly spacious, well-equipped, and felt like a home away from home What made our stay even more special was the warm hospitality. Jose greeted us with the kindness of an old friend every time we passed by the hotel — such a genuine and welcoming presence.Breakfast at the hotel was a daily highlight, with a delicious spread that included fresh fruit, eggs, pastries, breads, meats, and cheeses — everything you could want to start the day right.The peaceful surroundings and the scenic walking path along the river added to the magic. It’s easy to see why we completely fell in love with Tua. We can’t wait to return!"
