Weekend in Franklin
This was the second time my husband and I stayed at this property, although the first time was in a different cabin. But both stays were very enjoyable. The cabins are clean, cozy, and just right for a romantic get-away. The bed was very comfortable with extra blankets for those cold winter nights. We usually cook a little bit, and we found everything we needed. The neighborhood is quiet and within easy driving distance to downtown Franklin. We hope to stay there again soon.

Beautiful Stay in the Mountains!
I loved this property tucked away in the Smoky Mountains! The place was clean and fairly stocked on arrival with basic cooking utensils, so feel free to bring some groceries or head to Piggly Wiggly or Dollar General just a few minutes down the road. Outside of the only heat coming from the small furnaces in the living room area and bedroom and presumably no central AC, this place was great! I will likely be coming back with friends/family in the summer!

We are glad you enjoyed your stay. We have window units for the cabins and with the cool summers they are perfect. Cabin #7 does have central heat/air if you prefer that. Hope you visit us again soon.

Responses were prompt, concise and complete. All rates, charges were very affordable, including no pet fees or deposits. Our 11lb house-broken, pretty well behaved, quiet 4-legged 'child' leaves almost zero "paw print", doesn't shed, so we find it irksome when some places charge outrageous fees of this kind, and we simply won't rent them. Host, John was very pleasant, friendly. Cabin was clean, quiet, in fairly good repair, rather well equipped, and comfortable. It was actually roomier inside than either photos or exterior looks might suggest.

Property was as expected, however there needed to be instructions left in the unit for operating the propane heater in the living/dining area. The pilot did not seem to be lit, and I prefer not to have to figure it out myself. There is a window unit in the bedroom that undoubtedly would have been noisy being bedside, consequently we experienced a chilly night even under blankets. Bed is very firm. Easy fix for the owners.

Thank you for staying with us. We’re sorry you were chilly the electric fireplace in the bedroom and the gas heat is usually very warm. The beds are on the firm side we do have pillow tops availability for those if you find the beds too firm. We are happy to bring one down.

We only had reservations for one night because we travelled to the area to go on a scenic train ride out of Bryson City. Note: Bryson City is almost 40 minutes from this place. We had to leave the next day but the short stay was very comfy. Everything we needed was there and most importantly from my standpoint...the place was CLEAN! Glad we picked it.

Wonderful place to getaway from the city & get your mountain air fix. We stayed 5 days and this little cabin was the perfect spot for our home base as we explored the area. The cabin was clean & the right size for my husband, myself & our pup. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware, plates, utensils & even some staples. Great value too. Highly recommend & I'm sure we will be back.

My husband and I went up to Franklin, NC for our anniversary. This was a perfect little cabin for our little vacation. Everything was wonderful. It was clean. They also left little things that a person on vacation may forget, like salt and pepper. They had all the kitchen needs, even a strainer! 😊 Ashli and John were wonderful owners, very kind and helpful! I recommend this nice, quite place in the mountains!! 😁
