The wine tour and tasting were a highlight, with knowledgeable staff and excellent wines. The property was clean, quiet, and peaceful throughout our stay. A wonderful place to unwind and experience the beauty of the Douro Valley."

Our only meals on site (two breakfasts and one dinner) were buffet-style--perfectly acceptable but nothing special."

"Absolutely superb and relaxing!! Our stay at Ventozelo exceeded our expectations! The scenery, the staff, the service, the food, our room made for an ideal atmosphere for us to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We didn’t want to leave! The staff are so kind and warm and took very good care of us. The cantina was one of our favorite spots for dinner and just watching the sun set while drinking wine and listening to their music. We didn’t try the pool but it looked beautiful. We stayed in one of the bubble houses with a patio and our own living room. Beautiful accommodations. It was very easy to stay here and enjoy the wine tour and walk around the property. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again if we come back."
