"When we checked in the room wasn't ready. It took 45 minutes to get settled and they gave what they said was an upgrade and $100 BDS credit. Nice room and it had a kitchen. Maid service was a bit unpredictable, the times we wanted it they just left us a bunch of towels. The restaurants we tried are the main bar (nachos, small portion, pretty sub standard), the italian place (great!), the fancy breakfast buffet (awful), and the coffee place (good ice cream, coffee was good but super pricey served by rude teenagers). The pools are lovely, but the beach had a ton of seaweed. They ran busses to a different beach for free. We drove to that alternate beach ourselves and got a wristband, and it was so pretty there. We did book one thing through the concierge and they were very helpful and polite. It's a nice resort and they do their best to maintain it, there are workers all over the place doing things, so you can tell they do invest in it to keep things in good shape. Staff mostly are polite and attempt to be helpful. A few are clueless, including the manager we encountered during check in. Overall, the biggest problem with Crane is the location. It is FAR away from other things. Driving in Barbados is sketchy, and downright dangerous at night time. So, take a taxi if you can't deal with that. Due to the location, I would not recommend this place. But if you like somewhere that more or less shuts down at 9pm then this is for you."

"We stayed as a group of 5 adults in May. We hired a car and drove the 5/10 minutes from the airport and were met by the warm welcome of Harriet. A quick tour of the property and facilities from Harriet and we quickly settled in. The 3 bedrooms were perfect, good comfortable beds led to a great nights sleep, the pool guys can 3 times to clean the pool and never disturbed us. The kitchen allowed us to do breakfast and lunch around the pool and being returning visitors to the island we knew where to go for evening meals. The location of the villa is ideal for heading towards Crane beach, Bathsheba area (roads are being upgraded so drive with care) or heading in the other direction towards Bridgetown area past Oistins and The gap. The villa is convenient for grocery shopping with Masseys in Coverley or taking a longer drive to Popular Discounts for a wider selection of goods.The communication from Becky was excellent, I managed to lock myself out of the safe and a quick message to Becky and it was sorted in 5 minutes. Also the pre arrival access to various apps explaining the villa and how to operate the facilities is a great tool. In summary Coverley exceeded our expectations and between Harriet on the island if needed and Becky just a message away is a great support. We are only back a few days and already have recommended to others. We will definitely use again this n the coming years."

"Beautiful cliffside views! David made arrangements to meet us at the airport the day we arrived. The property is less than 10 minutes from the airport. Check in was smooth. Just wished the bedroom had the fabulous view but all the bedrooms were located in the back of the house. We really enjoyed star gazing in the evenings."

"My family and I had a beautiful stay . The house is perfect and comfortable. It is safe and quiet. The ocean view is stunning. I had my morning coffee on the balcony every morning. My favorite time !! Check out the stars at night from the balcony . Beautiful!! The only thing I wish that we would have known is that we can’t swim in the ocean in front of the house. The ocean is rough and dangerous and the house is by a cliff . If you rent a car you can drive to other beaches . I would definitely go back to this house. I highly recommend it ."

"Large space, very clean and comfortable. A little off the beaten path but close to the airport. We were two couples and there was plenty of space and each bedroom had it's own bathroom, which was nice. Nothing within walking distance, so recommend you have a car if you want to get anything or go anywhere."

"This is a very cozy rental and is decent value for money. The race track across the street can be a little annoying but if you're not staying in often you'll get over it. The Internet is a little unreliable and the seating is not very friendly for business travelers who may have to use a laptop. Otherwise it's a solid space. "
