Quiet Retreat
The cottage was clean and well organized. We truly enjoyed the fire pit and all the deer and turkey in the area. It was conveniently located for our activities and just a nice little cottage in the woods.

Quiet and full of wildlife
Cabin was small and cute just as we wanted. Fire pit and fire wood was a nice touch. Communication with the host was good. We really liked the area, the peace and quiet and we saw wildlife almost every day we were there.

New Year's getaway
I stayed by myself and loved it (55 year old woman). Loved sitting outside at night and the wonderful owners supplied the firewood. Went to Ichutucknee, Gilchrist Blue Springs, Devil's Millhopper....all close to the cabin. The bed was very comfortable. Perfect place!

Base camp for kayak adventures (used local shuttles)
The location of this property was exactly what we wanted. Using our own kayaks, we explored the Ichetucknee and Santa Fe Rivers that are very close. The cabin is in a beautiful rural location with much to offer for those seeking peaceful, quiet surroundings. The loudest noise in the area was an owl hooting!

Charming cabin
We booked here because it had inlet to access the santa fe river. Because of hurricane that blew through some of this area, neighbors tree fell across inlet so we couldn't paddle out from cabin. We were able to launch from park down the road.Appliances were adequate to prep our meals with. We had to remeber not to use air fryer and hot plate plugged in same outlet. We propped the breaker that was easy to get to. The place is well situated to visit the nearby springs to explore. They made up a booklet that we utilized to plan our paddles.lots of recreation things to do in this area. And each day, deer came through property. Woke up one morning and some turkeys (wild) came t hrough. So we recommend this place. Was small but great for a couples retreat. It met our needs. And glad there was coffee. Thanks for offering this up.

Perfect for a Single Adult
The home is small but more room than a hotel. Nice size kitchen and bedroom. The bed might be tight for two adults. There is the seat in narrow living room but I never opened it to see what size would fit comfortable in it for sleeping purposes. Enjoyed sitting on it to view the tube. The owners did a great job of organizing furniture and having everything you could think to need to enjoy your time at the property. Stop at the grocery store when you can. Not a lot of dining choices in the area. Private and quiet. I was met with a few deer that came up to vehicle upon my arrival at a neighbor's property. The chairs outside were a great spot to sit and enjoy the river view out back, and to listen to nature talk loudly. I really enjoyed finding and staying at this spot. Perfect for me. Would definitely do again. There is a very very long dirt road you may have to end up traveling. I felt this was a perfect get away spot if you are seeking quiet and solitude and to be close with nature. Code got me in so there was not check in delays. Ichtuknee tubing and springs were maybe 10 minute drive. Probably the best of the springs and tubing parks in the area from my experiences. Property was well kept and felt homey and comfty. I needed nothing except next time I will plan to bring food with me. There is a food mart at end of road that I did not visit. This is an area that seems to push pizza. You will always find pizza.

The cabin was what I expected, and what’s advertised. It’s small but great for a couple. I enjoyed my stay there. Small town feel and lots of wildlife to see and of course the Springs are awesome.

Check in was 3pm, we waited for the access code for 2h. We checked in 3 people, but was NO bed for the third person. Towels in the bathroom was prepared only for 2 people. After communication with the host someone bring the extra towels and bed sheets . The sofa in the living room IS NOT THE Sleaping SOFA. Very uncomfortable sofa for sleeping. I feel all the framing in my back . Cabin is good only for TWO PEOPLE.

Perfect for exploring the springs

Relaxing Cabin'esk
Our stay was very nice. The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean & quiet. Close enough to everything you could need or want but far enough away, from everything at the same time. We loved it! The description was 100% accurate for this property. Would recommend this place for anyone who just wants to get away from things for a weekend or a while. It was a chilly weekend so we didn't go to any of the nearby springs.... but I'm sure they would've been beautiful! Thank you for allowing us to stay here.

I do apologize for the recent water level. The Santa Fe River has been very high recently, due to all the rain. When it is high, it does back up the inlet and causes duck weed to form. This is temporary. I am told that the fishing the fishing is awsome!

Weekend getaway.
We stayed on the way back from dropping our daughter off at FSU. Relaxing break in a beautiful area We went to nearby Ichetuknee springs and found a great place for Mexican food lunch at the Farm Stand which also had homemade jams, pickles, hot sauce, and local honey. (seating outside on picnic tables). Our only suggestion would be to upgrade the mattress in the bedroom.

So relaxing for two!
Wonderful time! We played with family that stayed close. At night I hope my mother and I didn’t keep the neighbors up giggling and talking on the nice porch. Write down directions to anywhere you wanna go. GPS and service is bad when driving. It was fine in the house.

Lovely
Tiny place with high levels of relaxation. Clean! If you like wildlife you have to stay here. The animals we saw: lots of deer, turkeys, opossum, manatee, various birds to include waterfowl and a hawk and we heard owls every night. Did I mention the cat that came for a daily visit? Take advantage of the private parks your rental provides! Overall A+ experience.

Cozy Cabin Getaway
We simply loved this cozy cabin nestled in 3 River Estates. It had a great outdoor space as well. Unfortunately it rained on the 1st afternoon, however that didn't dampen our fun. Afternoon coffee on the covered porch listening to the rain on the metal roof., so relaxing. It was great! We will definitely be back.

Great location, great cabin, other than the mattress was hard as a rock and the 2 other loungers/beds where even worse. Bought air mattresses to sleep on instead.

Relaxing
Great location, quiet, up close wildlife sounds & viewing, all the simple needs for a relaxing stay. Yes, cell service is not great but that was okay with us. Being “unplugged” was great. There is a TV with several DVD’s and board games to occupy you if not enjoying the outdoors. We took full advantage of the fire pit each night and enjoyed our stay. Definitely would come back.

Quiet place, calm and relaxing, good location. Very basic, minimal accommodation. Lacking some basic kitchen utensils, dishes. Bring your own! Futon is not comfortable. Poor quality. The cabin is ok if you like to stay outside. Quite dark inside.

I am sorry you did not find everything you need. I hope you saw everything in the bottom cabinet. The full set of dishes with glasses, cups, bowls and 4 piece set utensils were in upper cabinet. Larger utensils with large knifes on counter. Lower cabinet had all the big stuff. Blender, toaster, large bowls and platers. I probably left some things out. I am not there now. I am very sorry you found the cabin dark. There is a very bright LED light in the kitchen ceiling that lights up the entire place. We have actually had a review that it was to bright. Of course there are lights in the ceiling fans. We also just bought a very nice new floor for the living room. I do agree with you that the chase couch does not sleep as wells as the queen bed in the bedroom.

Nice location
My niece and I had a nice stay here. Yes, it is quite small but we were there to enjoy the springs, and we did. The springs are about a 15-20 drive from this location. Very quiet. Was the first time we saw lightening bugs in years!

Small but comfortable. We liked the wooded setting and backyard. Very conveniently located to Ichetucknee Spring State Park, Santa Fe River, Ginnie Springs, and other springs. We were there on a cold night, did not have a chance to use the fire pit, but the indoor heating worked well. We were fine with no TV, but wifi would be a nice addition, especially since cell signal is not very strong.

Jim, I am glad that you enjoyed your visit at Nichols Point. I wanted to let you know that we have installed a 32" TV, a DVR and added a group of movies to watch on a rainy day. The TV does pick up channels to give you news and local broadcasting. WiFI will come in the future. Some people like to come and disconnect and families with kids have thanked me for not having it. I know others have the need for it.

2 night Weekend getaway
Cozy cottage in rural area. We had traveled to Gainesville for the UF Gators game, staying Friday and Saturday evening. Cottage was small but adequate. Loved the back porch over looking the trees and water (although in my estimate the water level may have been higher than normal so perhaps not so viewable in all seasons). Close enough to be accessible and convenient in our opinion to UF to and from the game. Some toiletries (hand/body soaps & dish soap) supplied as well as coffee and powdered creamers. Limited shopping in area however so if you have speciality needs would be good to plan to bring those along. Small refrig, microwave fit our needs for the short stay. No tv, limited access (at least with our carrier) for cell service. Which again we didn't mind but good to know ahead of time if you need access. Great stay, thank you !!

Great peaceful getaway.
It was the perfect experience for us. We wanted some peace and quiet, privacy and something out in nature a bit. The property is super comfortable and the outside fire pit really made it better. We spent most of the time outside. It’s also close to springs, which we had wanted to visit. The owners are really nice people and very responsive.
