Venus has so many repeat guests each summer they wish they had never shared the secret of Venus by the Sea. The living room has a sofa sleeper, so this is perfect for the parents and two small children. Your patio has a beautiful view of the pool courtyard and your walk to the beach is about 150 yards away. This unit DOES NOT have a beach view. It has a fully equipped kitchen and linens provided. If you like to be away from the crowds this is the place for you. It is on the gulf side of the beach. There are restaurants and shops within 2-5 miles but the beach is not as crowded as Destin. NO PETS, NO SMOKING OF ANYKIND IN UNIT & PLEASE DON'T LEAVE EXCESSIVE MESS. FYI, all reviews before Sept 2021 were with a different management company. I now self manage and have received all 5 star reviews. Condo needs a bit of updating, but was worth the rate we paid for it. Walk to the beach was easy and there is a shower and hose on the backside of the condo to wash off when you return. It was very nice and clean. The carpet and furniture was in new condition and very comfortable. The bedroom was very clean and inviting as well with nice decor. The unit was very roomy and felt like home. The kitchen had everything you would want and the balcony overlooked the pool. I was also surprised how with how close of a walk the beach was. We were very happy with the property and would recommend to anyone. Donna was friendly and provided us with valuable information about the area. The property was clean and had everything you needed. I was pleased that the owner game us a heads up about bringing extra toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags to eliminate the need for purchasing those upon arrival. The beach was easily accessible and not very crowded. My only wish was that the water pressure in the shower was stronger. I have long hair and it makes it a bit of a challenge to get the soap out.
