"The only room to have at this hotel is a queen room overlooking the pool. I don’t understand the reason why there’s no king rooms looking at the pool. The king rooms looks at the main road which is beyond noise. The outdoor pool is nice during the summer and the breakfast is really nice. The Indian restaurant in the premises is awesome!"

"Decent enough place for what you paid. However upon checking in they let us into a room that was already occupied. No harm no foul, nobody was actually in the room just their luggage, they fixed the problem right away but it does raise a concerned about security."

"It is an older hotel but really clean and quaint. Its easy to get to and the staff was kind. There are some natural imperfections that occur with older buildings but it was cozy and more than enough for getting a good sleep. Would recommend for people passing through."

"The place itself is really cute and quaint, and we loved the country-house feel. Having grown up on a farm, we really appreciated the charm and rustic appeal of the little cabin. The price point is also quite fair for what you get. It is in a good location with a quick drive to lake koocanusa, hiking trails and Cranbrook. That said, there are definitely a few things that could be improved. There was no lock on the door. There were no curtains on the living room window, holes in some of the bed sheets, and no duvet cover for the pull-out couch. The pull-out couch also wasn’t very comfortable. There’s no A/C either, and the little cabin gets quite hot during the summer.Overall, we enjoyed the character and country charm of the place. With a few simple improvements to the bedding, window coverings, and temperature control, it could be a much more comfortable stay. For the price, it’s fair, but there’s definitely room for improvement."
