Fort Ross Vineyard

The location of Embassy Suites, within a short walk to public transportation (BART), is the main thing going for it from my point of view and the ONLY reason I choose to stay at this location. Staff is friendly. I appreciate the option to store my luggage after checking out at 11:00 AM. The complimentary happy hour is a nice touch. The complimentary breakfast is okay - only one day of the six says I stayed at the hotel was avacado toast available for breakfast - lovely option for vegetarians. The rest of the food on offer provided sustenance although it would not qualify as extraordinary. The property itself is a bit tired and could use updating. Parking is EXPENSIVE at $34.00 without an option for short term paid or free parking for local friends who would like to come to the hotel and join me for dinner. 'Result: friends picked me up and we ate dinner elsewhere. I stayed in room 428, which did not have a stall shower. The shower was over the tub, which never did drain after my first shower on the first day of my three day stay.

The food is very good!

The room was clean. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was okay. I only stayed for one night. I slept pretty good:) It was also only a few minutes away from Oakland Arena. I watched J. Cole perform! Overall I’d say 4 stars. :)
