The location was great. It is located in walking distance to the beach, had parking in front and close to Sanibel Island. We didn't have time to take advantage of the kayaks, grills in the back, or bicycles, but these were great offerings. It had what we needed. Overall a lot of offerings for a decent price.

The pics on orbitz should be updated because they don’t match reality. I was worried that it would be basic and not very clean. I was pleasantly surprised!! A little old, but clean and met our needs!! The walk to the beach is the real winner! Also, it’s far enough down the island to be past the traffic! The pool is also beautiful with comfy chairs!! An excellent place to stay!!

Perfect Location- South End Fort Myers Beach
WOW we loved our little “staycation”. We live in Fort Myers and love the South End of Fort Myers Beach because we can actually get there without waiting in TONS of traffic. I’m so glad I found this Hotel on Hotels.com because we’ll definitely be back. They have a nice heated pool and the beach was right across the street. Didn’t look into the details but you could bring your boat because they have a dock.

The damaged dolphin!
The rooms are small, bathroom as well, air conditioning hardly worked, no one available at front desk ever to talk to, beach chairs beat up! Patio pavers loose and dangerous!

Superb
I really enjoyed my stay at the Dolphin Inn Resort. Room was clean and comfortable. Brett and Jefferson were very professional and friendly. Will definitely stay here again. The property is within walking distance to the beach, restaurants and grocery store.

Loved it! The place was clean and remodeled. It had contactless check-in which was easy and convenient. We loved having a full kitchen and the place was much bigger than expected. The pool was nice and the beautiful beach was a quick walk across the street! The staff was very friendly and there was even a sweet cat there to greet us every morning. There were bikes and kayaks for guests to use. The location is awesome- on the quiet side but a quick walk to CVS and a few restaurants. We will definitely be back!

Little hiccup checking in as the office was Closed at 4 for our check in and it took 20 minutes and the assistance of another employee to get ahold of someone-after that everything was smooth and the property was so nice!! Cleaning ladies were super nice :) will definitely stay here again-one of those places you wish you would’ve known about sooner!

The room was very very dirty we left after one day our booking was longer when we saw cockroaches we decided to leave immediately disappointing stay knifes spoons fork to dirty to touch. Anyway very unfortunate and a waste of the payment in advance

Not Exactly Inviting!
Layout was a bit of a hodgepodge. Those using beds in alcove and LR have to walk through the bedroom to get to the BR. 2 towel bars broken. 2 working. BR TV had no cable box. therefore, unusable. LR TV difficult to use. Not much free. 1st use of microwave it sputtered & went on fire inside. Ambience lacking warmth. Beds O.K.

This was a cost conscious alternative for those looking to vacation on Fort Myers Beach. The unit was clean and updated. Only downside is that it is a bit small for an extended stay, but it packs a lot in.

Love the bay view, the room is like a tiny house, well-equipped with all the utensils, pots and pans you need for cooking, with a two-burner hot plate, microwave, toaster, and more. Good room fridge, too, and super cold À/C. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. I especially like the secluded feel and quiet of the bay side room I stayed in overlooking the docks and water — a real treat for this desert dweller (from Arizona). Friendly staff and sweet cat create a homey atmosphere.

Thank you for your feedback. For the benefit of the reader the guest wanted to cancel the reservation inside the cancellation period and was upset we wouldn't give her the money back and then arrived and then magically found all sorts of issues that no other guests have had while staying with us.

I had came into my “suite” around 11:30pm. The door was unlocked and the keys were on the table. As soon as I walked in there was a big roach and a brown stain on the blanket on the bed. I explained to the one of the receptionist what happened and she told me the manager would give me a call back. The manager texts me saying unfortunately they can’t refund me. It was so unprofessional, never again will I ever consider going there. The place was disgusting.

Great choice and location if you’re an active vacationer moving around the island a lot for activities. Excellent pool with bikes and kayaks. Rooms are sizable and clean.

It appears that the staff is in on the joke. With just a few bookings possible, the entire clientele seemed to be related to the staff. Seriously, half of the bookings all knew each other. We were subjected to maybe 10 or more clients per room. There was no escape. At the pool, the nepotism was rampant. Rap music at the small pool, with dogs allowed to swim in the pool?! On the balcony, what should have been a blessing, was a curse. Some crusty old Spanish guy thought it was cool to smoke weed and lurch out to young children, was supported by the staff who undoubtedly supported Epstein, and his endeavors.

Definitely pass on this dirty run down place
Definitely Don't Stay at This Place The location was good but that's about all that was good. I wasn't expecting a new updated place but I was expecting it to be clean and maintained The walls were coming apart The floor was sticky dirty, my daughter feet were black after walking barefoot. The dishes were dirty, Mold in the tub and The pillows were 1 inch thick card board very hard and very thin and my grandson said they were dirty and smelled (Thank God I brought my own pillow) but that's the least of it There were huge cockroaches and Termite droppings by the kitchen pass thru which was right above one of the beds YUK They did come and clean the floor and we asked for different pillows which we never got. Pass on this place

Great stay away from the crowded "Times Square"
Dolphin Inn is a no no nonsense sort of place. Its not the fanciest place...sort of dated but for the price worth it. Biggest pros: Very close beach access, lots of room (we had a separate room from kids), pool was nice and clean with provided pool toys and far away from the crowds at the front of the beach, movie theater right next door. Biggest cons: Parking, definitely not enough spaces, thin blankets on bed. Overall I would stay again due to the great access to beach and affordable price.

Nice apartment style room with 3 beds and full kitchen for 160! Very clean and very friendly service. I like my coffee in the morning and there is no coffee in the room, however, there is a Mr Coffee maker, so I ran down to CVS that evening and bought some coffee grinds for my morning coffee. Also had a clean pool the kids enjoyed. 3 televisions with lots of channels including HBO channels. Free high speed internet if you prefer to stream via Firestick or similar.
