It was quiet and low-key. The pool area was very nice. You could see the ocean from the pool. Dolphins are active in the late afternoon. Very close to Lover’s Key State Park which was great. Highly recommend this condo and the location. Condo is bright and clean, perfect for two to four guests. Kitchen was stocked for us to make breakfast and snacks. The views are amazing! We spent the mornings watching the sunrise and having our breakfast on the balcony. Fun to watch all the boating traffic in the afternoon too. Location is great - on the quiet side of the island away from the crowds and traffic of Ft. Myers beach. 5 min drive to Lovers Key Beach. Flippers is a right next door for a bite to eat and a cocktail and we went about 10 min south and had a great time at Doc's Beach House. The view (even with construction) is beautiful and the team helped with any questions we had. Couldn’t ask for an easier check in and out process. I was incredibly nervous about the construction but if you think about the hurricane damage and the rebuilding of the area, then it’s truly humbling and tolerable. After a year off of coming back to Lover’s Key in February because of Hurricane Ian, we were grateful to be back, having stayed there for 10 years. This condo building was one of few reopened. The condo was found to be extremely clean, views were incredible. Kitchen area well stocked for our needs. Pool and hot tub all redone. Relax at pool with Estero Bay behind you and watch dolphins and manatees go by. Flipper’s Restaurant attached to pool area, excellent food and they provide drink and food service at the pool. During our stay, there was some ongoing construction in getting building back to where it was. Management quickly responded to our concerns and had a resolution. Hope you enjoy Lover’s Key as much as we do. It’s a gem! ##### Joyce J. I only have a few negative comments. I never received the code for late night entry into the building so one night we came back late, and we were locked out of the building so I had to call for the code. It only took about 5 mins though so it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, the condo was nice and clean, but the couch is really stained. It looks like they’ve tried to clean it, but it still looks pretty dirty. We laid a blanket on it before using it because I wasn’t comfortable hanging out on it or letting my 7 month old granddaughter sit on it. Additionally, leaving the thermostat on 74 was not great. It felt pretty warm in there at times, and for me, for sleeping that’s just too warm. Other than that, things were good. The condo was quiet. The bed was comfortable. The pool was great and having the restaurant on site was very convenient. So I guess I have mixed feelings. Would I stay again? Maybe for a quick stay. ##### Kristy S. It was beautiful! The pool was nice, unfortunately all the beaches were closed. We were able to rent kayaks and got to see a couple beaches. This condo was the perfect size for two adults. The view from the two windows facing east and south provided us with entertainment watching fishing boats and many Ospreys and Ibis which live in the beautiful estuary. The pool had plenty of umbrellas and was never crowded. We will return and stay longer next time! Barefoot Beach south of the condo was a great place to spend the day on the beach. ##### Laura S. My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this 9th floor unit. The views from the balcony and floor to ceiling windows were septactular. There was always a nice breeze out on the balcony. We enjoyed the large bathroom, comfortable king size bed and kitchen with a bar area. The large heated pool overlooking the bay was a great spot to relax. Having Flipper's restaurant with their fantastic seafood right next door was a bonus. The beach at Lovers Key park was beautiful and so close. We have always stayed on the beach, and thought we’d try something different. This property was great. I can’t believe reading all the reviews before our stay and I don’t remember mention of the sunrise each morning. If you enjoy sunsets, you will love this sunrise at this property. Also, after the sunset in the evenings watching the moon rise was also a beautiful site. The ocean life and birds were great also. And for the beach lovers, right across the road was a beautiful beach and Lovers Key State Park where we enjoyed hiking. Amazing view, Very Clean. accommodating. Quiet. Staff was professional. Pool/ jacuzzi area was clean. Everything was as promised. Only problem I had was finding the front desk. Which is on the 1st floor not ground level where you arrive.
