ATTENTION : SWIMMING POOL UNAVAILABLE FROM JULY 4 TO SEPTEMBER 1 The cottage is located in a wing of a 19th-century Provençal stone farmhouse, built on a 2-hectare property in a beautiful wooded setting 2.5 km from Forcalquier in the Alpes de Haute Provence at an altitude of 600 m. The owner lives on site and the farmhouse has another cottage, but this will not disturb your peace and quiet. You will enjoy a separate entrance and a large furnished terrace with a magnificent view of the Luberon mountains and the surrounding countryside. The spacious and bright living/dining room faces west and includes a well-equipped kitchen and a sitting area with leather sofas. This room opens onto the west-facing terrace, where you can enjoy barbecues (gas) and admire the wonderful sunsets. This living room leads to: A first large bedroom equipped with two beds that can be pushed together (2x80), a closet/wardrobe, and a small chest of drawers. From this bedroom, a wooden staircase leads to a mezzanine with a single bed and a small east-facing window. A second bedroom with a double bed (160 cm) and a large closet/wardrobe. This bedroom opens onto a private east-facing terrace where you can enjoy your morning coffee. The bedding is new and the linens provided are of high quality. The cottage has a washing machine and iron. Cleaning products are provided. The house is heated with a heat pump. If heating is necessary, we will add the electricity consumption. Internet access is free. Outside: You can relax in the garden furniture set up under the trees and enjoy the two hectares of grounds. Private parking, children's games, and green spaces are at your disposal. This rental is non-smoking, and pets are not allowed. Tourist tax not included. Located in the Luberon park, Forcalquier will delight you with its many opportunities for walks and visits. You can visit: The monuments of FORCALQUIER (Cathedral, Cemetery, Citadel, Cordeliers Convent), Sauvan Castle (Mane), Salagon Priory (ethnobotanical museum), Ganagobie Monastery, Carluc Priory (Céreste), and picturesque little villages such as Lurs and Dauphin. The astronomy center at Saint Michel l'Observatoire (the clearest skies in Europe) offers guided tours. You can explore the landscapes of the Lure mountain (20 km), the unusual rock formations of Les Mourres and Les Pénitents des Mées, the lavender fields around Forcalquier, the small village of Lardiers, and Le Revest du Bion. The village of Banon (25 km), with its bookshop and famous goat's cheeses, is a lovely place to visit. We are located 45 minutes from Aix-en-Provence and 1 hour from Marseille and its calanques. The famous Verdon Gorge with its stunning scenery, the lakes of Esparron and Sainte Croix, the spa town of Digne and its famous ammonite rock are also about an hour's drive away. Hiking, horse riding and mountain biking enthusiasts will be in their element. The Vannades lake, located 18 km away, is ideal for sports and leisure activities. Die Wohnung wurde erst vor kurzem stilvoll renoviert, Die Küche ist komplett eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts. Gisele und ihr Mann sind sehr herzliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeber.
