Dans une ancienne maison dont l'intérieur a été refait,située au calme dans une voie sans issue,avec une jolie vue sur le village .Maison indépendante surélevée avec cour non fermée et jardin clos (salon de jardin barbecue, portique enfants bac à sable) .cuisine américaine avec tout le confort, séjour avec poutres et cheminée avec insert canapé convertible. 2 chambres. salle de bain spacieuse avec douche(baignoire bébé) WC indépendant avec lave mains, buanderie avec machine à laver et sèche linge+grand placard. gîte 4-6 personnes dans petit hameau très calme permettant de se ressourcer. La Bourgogne a de tout temps été une région de passage, aussi de très nombreux sites chargés d'histoire jalonnent notre région. Des grottes d’Arcy où vécurent des hommes préhistoriques, les Fontaines salées qui étaient des thermes Gallo-Romains, le Château de Guédelon qui apprend comment les châteaux forts étaient bâtis à l'époque médiévale, la Basilique de Vézelay départ du pèlerinage vers Saint Jacques de Compostelle, au Château de Bazoches, résidence du Maréchal Vauban, vous n'aurez que l'embarras du choix. Vous préférez les randonnées pédestres: de très nombreux sentiers balisés vous attendent et vous ferons découvrir la richesse de la faune et de la flore de notre campagne. La forêt ,immense richesse de notre région, vous permettra des promenades ombragées et pourquoi pas la cueillette de quelques succulents champignons. Vous préférez vous reposer, le calme de notre village vous fera oublier tous vos soucis. Quelle magnifique sensation d'être dans la campagne et de n'entendre que des bruits naturels. Vous êtes sportifs pourquoi ne pas descendre la Cure en Kayak ou en rafting, faire quelques parcours en accrobranche ou encore une randonnée en quad. Vous aimez la bonne chaire, notre région est réputée autant par ses mets ( escargots, cuisse de grenouilles, œufs meurette....) que par ses vins (Chablis, Baunes, Chevrey....)A toutes ces richesses, nous ajouterons un accueil chaleureux et agréable, avec simplicité et plaisir. Vraiment nous avons tout pour que votre séjour soit agréable et inoubliable. D'ailleurs certaines personnes reviennent régulièrement et c'est notre grand bonheur. Stayed 14 nights in Jun 2020 Verified ### 8/10 Good #### Detlev T. 29 May 2019 #### Ein gemütlicher Aufenthalt in ruhiger Umgebung Das schön umgebaute Bauernhaus in der Nähe von Vézelay liegt in einem ruhigen, kleinen Dorf, trotzdem gibt es auch in der näheren Umgebung sehr viele interessante Orte zu entdecken. Wir waren ganz überrascht. Der hervorragende Kaminofen hat in den ersten, kühlen Tagen hervorragende Dienste geleistet, dervorbeifahrende Bäcker dreimal in der Woche rechtzeitig zum Frühstück direkt vor dem Haus gehalten. Die Betreueung durch Annie und Jean Cauvin war sehr angenehm. Insgesamt haben wir eine wirklich schöne, erholsame Woche dort verbracht. ##### Detlev T. La flambée de la cheminée, les transats, le jardin...✌️🤩 Une région qui ne manque pas de châteaux, de sites préhistoriques ( Grotte d’Arcy) et gallo-romains... les randonnées sont accessibles, vertes et ensoleillées. À moins de 30 minutes de route de notre gîte nous avons pu visiter tant de choses et passer de belles vacances! Le village est au calme, parfait pour des enfants qui peuvent être autonome au jardin ou vers la fontaine pour observer les têtards. Der Kamin verbreitet eine wohlige Wärme. die Umgebung ermöglicht wunderschöne Spaziergänge und Ausflüge in die umliegenden Dörfer, v.a. nach Vézelay. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich. ##### Dirk S. Warm cosy and comfortable property with 'character' and in a good location for visiting Vézelay and area. Renovated and modernised inside to a good standard, with pleasant outdoor seating areas. Bring your own teapot if you need one! A useful bread van comes 3 times a week with baguettes. Nearest village shops (in St Père) are about a 10 minute drive. Neither our 'school' French nor the owners' English was good so the booking process via the web site emails wasn't easy. The whole booking process (for this, and for another gîte) through the HomeAway web site was very clunky and tedious. I would not choose to book through HomeAway again. The owners are very pleasant and helpful despite our language difficulties. Electricity and the local tax are charged extra, as are bedding and towels if you don't bring your own. ##### Ian B. Nous qui avons toujours peine à trouver un gîte avec nos chiens, on a su nous faire confiance et ça fait plaisir. C'est avec plaisir que vous reviendrons dans cette magnifique région... Accueillants, nos chiens ont été reçus sans réserves, nous avons passé de très belles vacances dans une région magnifique, nous nous sommes reposées à l'ombre des arbres, dans le jardin, avons visité les lacs , les villages et .....nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir!!!! ##### Christiane A.
