"We chose this for an overnight stop, with our pet furry friend, on our way from Santander to Portuguese Silver Coast. Pet friendly and self-catering appealed to us. The communication and the welcome to the lovely property, from Sandra, was exceptional. She went out of her way to show us the accommodation and walk us through the pretty village to the local restaurant, telling us a little about the place as we went. The property is immaculate and very cosy with everything you need for a short stay. We would have happily stayed longer and will certainly visit again. The staff at the restaurant were lovely too and the food was excellent and worth the little extra we paid. It's not the cheapest Portuguese restaurant but quite a surprising find in such a small village. We can recommend the steak and the bacalhau. We were very happy with our stay and will return there on our homeward journey. Thank you for the kindness and the welcome we received. "

"This is a fabulous little hotel. It has obviously been recently refurbished and modernised. It is spotlessly clean and the staff are very helpful. Continental breakfast was great value for only €5 and there is a handy cafe/bar right next door."

"It was very confusing to find this gem as google maps led us astray a couple of times. However, upon arrival we were greeted by the most wonderful caretakers who were so kind and friendly that all the jet lag melted away. Not only is this accommodation amazing and very cool but Ingrid and her husband are brilliant. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. "
