9.4/10 Exceptional! (19 reviews)
Our weeklong trip meandering the roads of Vermont was made more memorable by our stay at the Brook Bound Inn! The property is gorgeous and impeccably maintained! Our room was clean and so quiet! The bed was comfortable, and the blackout window blinds allowed us to sleep a little later than normal. The bathroom was very clean with a large shower and great smelling body wash, shampoo, etc. Jake and Hope were so helpful before and during our stay. We also appreciated the robust WIFI. We didn’t try the amazing pool this time, but we will for sure on our next trip!

7.4/10 Good! (667 reviews)
I think it is one of those properties that your experience depends on where you stay. The hotel is a historic hotel with sash windows and little in the way of sound proofing. We were in the Orvis Inn and had a room next to the road at the front of the building. As such it was loud and drafty.
There was no sound proofing in the room and you could hear every step of the people above. We were due to stay five nights and left after three. I think the final straw was a dog in the room above barking for an hour from 12.30 to 1.30 in the morning.
We had breakfast on the first day and never went back again.
We sat in the garden at the back of the hotel and it was idyllic. So as I say I think the experience depends on where they put you and if there is any soundproofing!
