This place was a total disappointment. We did not even end up staying. From the beginning I had called with a few questions, no one would answer. I left a message twice and when they finally did call back, they could not give me any straight answers and then HUNGUP on me. Upon arrival, the sign is hard to see and the place just looks rundown. As we were walking up the steps to the lobby there was a large dead bird on the staircase. As I walked through the eating area to check in I couldn't help but notice how dark and dingey it was, the buffet area was covered in crumbs and debris, the windows were fogged over with who knows what, and then dirty rags and a large open bowl of water I'm assuming from breakfast was sitting out. We didn't arrive until 5 hours after their breakfast service would have ended and it was STILL not cleaned up. The check in area is also a mess, not how you want to be greeted for a stay at a "resort". We had requested a late checkout but was told it would not be approved until the day of check out because they wouldn't know what was going on until then. As if there is no system in place with reservations? It got worse when we went to look at the room, it was FILTHY and it smelled awful. The corners on the floor were caked with dirt, we left immediately. Still waiting for the refund as a Manager was not available when we dropped the key back to the desk 10 minutes after arriving. Expedia has been unhelpful as well with trying to get my money back.
