"We spent two nights at the Ruby Hotel. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood and close to downtown Roundrock. The rooms were nice and we had a nice river view with a balcony to sit on. The grounds of the hotel are well kept and they have nice patio off their restaurant/bar area. Very peaceful and they had live music the two nights we were there. Highly recommend."

"We had stayed here before and it was fine. This time, we paid the 25 dollar early check in fee but they put us in a room that had not even been cleaned yet. The room had sheets everywhere and trash still in the bins. We went to the front and they moved us to a room that smelled like cigarettes. Just terrible this visit. It is terrible to pay for the early check in and get a smoking room not asked for."

"I sat in the lobby trying to call the office for late check in for 30 minutes and could not get anyone to answer I ended up having to go to another hotel to get a room. I called the next morning to get a refund and was told “ I was working last night and didn’t get a single call” was told he needed to call his manger and would call me right back. I never got a call back or money back."

"Breakfast was good. Parking easy. Only issue was that there was a lack of hot water in the room. Barely warm at times."

"Hotel entrance was appealing and clean. Convenient garage parking beside the hotel. Very friendly staff. Some restaurants and shopping near the hotel, but will likely need transportation to get to most places."
