"The room was clean, bathroom small, and the check-in was just okay. The guy at the front desk when we arrived was slammed due to 2 other employees now showing up and he was the only one there, so he was less than happy. "first time at the lodge and Shenandoah and i loved it. The staff was super friendly. Our dinner was amazing. I got the pan fried trout over cheddar grits and asparagus and it was delicious, going to miss that. We did 2 of 3 trails that are around big meadow, loved the rose river falls trail!!"

"Great area to be close to Shenandoah and Luray and host was very responsive. The road that the Yurt is off of is busier than I expected so you do hear some car noise inside the yurt if noise is a concern. Host does provide ear plugs and sound machine. Yurt is very large and clean space."
