Nestled on a hill, "on" the old Roman road linking Tournus to Autun, in the hollow of a sublime hilly wine-growing setting mixing bucolic vineyard hillsides, wooded meadows & beautiful wild forests, Fley has a very rich heritage (listed 12th century Romanesque church, chapels, beautiful winegrowers' residences & perfectly renovated 18th century farms, wash houses, cadoles, etc.) and houses in imposing 19th century buildings (superb priory & beautiful neo-Gothic church) the famous religious community of "Saint Jean de Notre Dame de Rimont" (a place of retreats and training center of international renown).
