Staying at Nysfjord was a treat. All is very well taken caren of, the staff is really friendly and helpful, the food is excellent (we loved the pizza and breakfast), and the village is fun to explore and learn about. The "village" is actually the cottages and associated restaurants etc. Nusfjord, the fjord, is tiny, isolated and intimate with huge rock walls. The property has done an excellent job in preserving the feel of the original fishing village. We booked our cottage last minute while we were eating at the pizza restaurant in Nusfjord. We went to check in and they upgraded us to a bigger cabin for the night.
