"A great location, close to the Mount Field National Park. An older property with great sleeping options for a large group of travelers. Well stocked kitchen and good-sized fridge to take supplies. Got to see the platypus in the pond on site which was a treat. Fabulous communication from the owner and easy access. Sadly, lots of black mold in the shower corners and a bloody rag left in the washing machine. We also had to wash again all the crockery and cutlery we used as they were very dirty...

"We booked one night in the lodge. The instructions for check in were easy to follow and our room and the communal areas (kitchen and bathrooms) were very clean and presentable. The lodge is right right next to the restaurant and Altho we did not eat there, the food smelt delicious."
