"The suite had everything I needed, and more, for my short visit to Langford and Victoria. It was clean, centrally located and when I had difficulty unlocking my door on a Sunday night, a kind man answered the after hours phone line immediately and quickly helped me gain access to the room. The only negative I can point is the traffic noise. It’s a busy street. I really enjoyed the balcony though and the stylish, well-appointed suite. I recommend SoLo Suites and will stay here again."

"My husband and I needed a place last minute and we lucked out with this place. Ted and his wife were amazing. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean. They made sure we were comfortable. I had a great night sleep on their comfy beds that I haven't had for a long time. The place was quiet and relaxing. The gentleman Bernhardt was helpful and kind and so friendly! He made the stay there very easy. We felt so comfortable in their amazing home with a beautiful garden and views of the ocean. In the morning, breakfast was served on fine china dish ware. It was everything you would need for a satisfying breakfast. We still talk about the stay and the beautiful people there. Thank you Bernhardt for all your help."

"We absolutely loved the location. Very quiet and perfectly located between Butchart Gardens and Victoria. Easy to drive to Sydney which the host recommended. Crystal and Marco were fabulous hosts. Crystal helped us plan our two-day itineraries, made excellent recommendations including parking lots, restaurants, etc. Their suggestions added to our touring experience. The only caution would be if it is a rental for an elderly person or someone with limited mobility. Stairs going down into the unit, the tub/shower is a soaking tub so talker than a normal tub so difficult to get into it for a shower."

"We loved our five-night stay in this very special place, where a magical lagoon meets the ocean. Spacious, comfortable, clean and pretty, with a good vibe and an exceptionally gracious owner. The most comfortable beds we’ve encountered in our many travels. Well equipped kitchen, comfy living room to watch tv or just hang out. Great shower and tub…better water pressure than we have at home. An easy walk to the beautiful spit that lies between the lagoon and the ocean—both visible from the kitchen and living room. Bird life galore. It did take us 25-30 minutes to drive into downtown Victoria; 40 minutes during “rush hour.” So we decided to enjoy dedicated “Victoria days” and “lagoon days.” Less driving this way, but with plenty of uninterrupted time to soak up “both sides” of this amazing area. Thank you, Jayne!"
